Cute-looking side-scroll platformer that feature a swashbuckling purple dinosuar privateer who is called out of retirement to keep the evil pirate Bernardo from finding a legendary magical gem.

A decent but not too addicting platform game featuring a cool main character. Worth the look, but probably not much more.

The game recreates the pinball table and gameplay from the arcade version and also adds some video game features, such as lightning bombs, attacking enemies, magnetic helicopters, and rust balls which dissolve your flipper. The bottom part of the screen remains on the bottom set of flippers, while the top half scrolls over the whole pinball table to follow the action. Gameplay is for one to four players alternating.

Hit the ice combines fast, action packed hockey with the crazy antics of brawling. You select a team from a list of wacky competitiors and strap on your skates for some hard hitting action. Fists will be flyin' when you step onto the ice and bodies will be flying as well for that matter! Beating on the opposition is just as important as scoring goals in this messy affair. A variety of moves can be performed, such as slapshots, passes, checks, super shots and checks, plus many more. All of the action takes place in a jam packed arena that is craving some bone crunching hits! All the animations and highlights can be seen on the scoreboard at center ice as well. Get ready to score some goals and throw some punches!

Hit the Ice is a hockey video game originally released by Williams to arcades in 1990. Featuring a cartoonish representation of the sport, Hit the Ice features games with three players on each team (forward, defense, and goalie). Unlike standard hockey, there are very few rules, as players are encouraged to trip, elbow and kick opponents.

Hit the Ice is based on the game of ice hockey, the aim of the game being to outscore your opponent by shooting the puck into the opponent's net more often than the opponent over three periods of play.

The game is unique because instead of having six players per team (like Konami's Blades of Steel), the game only has three (forward, defense, and goalie). In the arcade version there are only two teams (Red and Blue) and players can be chosen for each position.

During games, there are very few rules. Players have special moves, most of which are illegal moves in actual ice hockey (such as slashing, tripping, elbowing, or kicking opponents in the groin). Fights are common, though a player losing a fight is not penalized. Instead, he becomes sluggish for a short period. If the player loses several fights in one period, he leaves the game with an injury.

Every player is capable of a "super shot", which must be charged beforehand. If allowed to charge and shoot, the shot will hit the goaltender with such force that he is knocked back into the net along with the puck, counting as a goal. If a team is far enough behind, his team may receive a power-up in the form of a "super drink", making the stick of the player who consumes it flash with energy and turning every shot into a super shot for a short time.

Welcome to no holds barred hockey brought to you by the Video Hockey League. It's the Reds versus the Blues, the VHL's biggest rivalry.

The same hockey rules apply, pass the puck around around the ice rink and shoot it past the opposite goalie to score. You can also check your opponent just like real hockey, only each character has their own bone-crushing way of checking, each with maximum impact and zero tolerance for your well-being. Players can also start fights with one another to really spice things up.

For an additional credit, players can purchase a 'power drink' that will make them 'Skate Faster and Shoot Harder' at the start of the period for one minute.

Now get to the action and DROP THAT PUCK!

Don't Panic! Relax, because everything you need to know about playing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is contained in the pages of this manual. In this story, you will be Arthur Dent, a rather ordinary earth creature who gets swept up in a whirlwind of interstellar adventures almost beyond comprehension. As the story begins bulldozers are waiting to reduce your house to rubble to make way for a motorway bypass. While you attempt to deal with this problem, your rather strange friend Ford Prefect drops by to tell you that the Earth is about to be demolished to make way for an interstellar bypass! If you survive this double threat, you'll embark on a series of inter-galactic misadventures even funnier than your worst nightmares! A special note for people who have read the book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Although the opening of the game is fairly similar to the book, the story quickly diverges, with lots of new material and different twists. Although familiarity with the story may make a few of the early puzzles easier, if you rely too heavily on this previous knowledge you will certainly end up getting misled.

You are Andrew, the one man team. Ord and Clee are robots whose goal is to destroy you any way they can (by driving you against the boards, into a spinner, or by hitting you with a supercharged ball).
