In this adventure game you control an explorer who's on his way to fortress Alcazar. To reach Alcazar you are traveling through a countryside of fortresses and you need to collect several items that you can find along the way. Once you enter the Alcazar fortress you have to search for the crown.

The strategy map gives you an overview of the countryside, it's fortresses and your location in it. What perils lurk in these mysterious castles? Which path is quick and safe? The Alcazar castle is three stories high, all other castles have only two stories. To enter a castle you just have to follow the path. Each castle has it's own sought-after objects and these objects are always guarded by the castles main demon. Objects to look for are for example: a rope, a gun, raw meat, water or a raft. Collect them and use them properly to master the legendary Alcazar fortress.

The game gives you clues and tells, for example, which monsters are nearby. Some monsters are really hard to kill.

The game can be played at four difficulty levels.

It's the third time around for time-traveler errant Marty McFly, and this time he and Doc go back to the days of the Wild West. Inspired by the Steven Spielberg feature film of the same name starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Mary Steenburgen.

You've got to hand it to Arena for having the guts to take the crappy inside of a leftover Genesis cartridge, smacking a label on it, and then selling it for fifty bucks. If you are anything like me and value the time you have in this life, then you'll avoid this game like the bubonic plague.

Spurred by stinginess and your natural curiosity, you stick around after the show in the big top, hoping to catch a free after-hours performance. Perhaps you'll get a peek at an imprompu clown act, or watch the late-night feedings of the exotic animals you goggled at earlier. But life at the circus isn't glamourous after the audience has gone home: instead of flashy feats, you overhear a mysterious conversation: a little girl -- the circus owner's daughter -- has been kidnapped! Her father is too naive (or he is too pompouly stupid?) to do more than hire an inept detective to find her. He remains blindly loyal to his overworked performers, but ... could it be an inside job? The girl might be hidden somewhere on the circus grounds ... and one of the performers might be her abductor! So you do what anyone would in these circumstances: set out to rescue the damsel in distress. The odds aren't in your favor: you -- a spectator, a bystander, an outsider in a defensive close-knit community -- trying to find a girl you've never met, in a place you know nothing about, among bizarre people who want nothing to do with you. Some would call you brace. Some would call you foolish. Every circus has its seedy underside. but few are as dangerous as this.

Join in the fun with Barbie and her friends as they embark on various adventures. Inspired by the popular girl's fashion doll made and marketed by the Mattel toy company.

Barbie takes a vacation and visits various places in the U.S. in the process - a big improvement over its predecessor with improved graphics, but experienced gamers will find it a boring breeze.

Perhaps the closest thing you will find in the English G/MD library to a shojo-style game. They're every little girl's dream, and every serious gamer's nightmare. My niece insisted on playing them over and over until I had to throw the main breaker and cut off the power. Kids may love 'em, and that's all fine and good, but I don't.

The Battle of Olympus is a side-scrolling, action-adventure game for the Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Infinity. It was published on March 28 1988 by Imagineer in Japan for the Famicom and was titled Oryunposu no Tatakai: Ai no Densetsu.

Similar in style to Zelda II: The Adventures of Link for the NES, The Battle of Olympus takes place in an ancient Greece which is being terrorized by Hades, the dark ruler of the underworld.

Orpheus had his girlfriend Helene kidnapped by Hades who is holding her for his personal pleasure. A top-down map of Greece shows various dungeons and ancient Greek city-states for the player to visit on his journey. Swords, shields, and crystals help to provide offensive power and defensive strength for the player. Three fragments of love are there to remind Orpheus of his girlfriend Helene. Hades rules his dominion in Tartarus; where his strongest minions live alongside him. Enemies that players have to fight include several breeds of cyclopes, minotaurs, and pegasuses.

This game is much like Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link turned into ancient Greece. You play as Orpheus, whose girlfriend, Helene, has been kidnapped by the demonic ruler of the netherworld called Hades. So begins the journey.

Just like in Zelda 2, there is a top-down map of Greece with towns and other locations to explore. Each of these has side-scrolling sections in which Orpheus fights his way through the minions of Hades. There are various items one must get to continue to the next location, including swords, shields and crystals. There are three fragments of love hidden around; Orpheus has to find them before he can enter Tartarus and fight Hades to save his beloved Helene.

The monsters of the game are also based on the Greek mythology and it is pretty entertaining to confront cyclopses, minotaurs and pegasoses. Clubbing snakes can also be great fun.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Game Boy Adventure is an action-puzzle game based on the Bill & Ted films released by LJN in 1991.

DeNomolos has hatched another plan to alter history in his favor. He has stolen special orbs called Time Fragments and scattered them all across time. Now Bill and Ted must travel across time to retrieve the time fragments to prevent the future from altering. But it won't be easy for the San Dimas duo. As DeNomolos has the aid of the evil robot Bill and Ted, plus he has brainwashed Death and some historical figures to stop them along the way.

Each level takes place on a single screen. Players must collect scattered time fragments while jumping platforms, climbing ladders or ropes, and avoiding enemies. Because this is a Game Boy game, all sprites are very simplistic as both Bill and Ted have almost useridentical game sprites. In addition, enemies are only differentiated by their actions.

Based on the movie. You control Bill & Ted- Rufus, a time traveling "dude" from the future, gives you use of a time-traveling telephone booth. Use the phone booth to go back in time to many different eras, collect items, and get historical "dudes" to follow you. Some "dudes" won't come unless you can bribe them with the right object. You must get them to follow you back to modern times so you can pass a history report and keep your band, the "Wyld Stallyns" together.

At the end of the game, you are graded based on time elapsed, and "dudes" accumulated.
