An early 1- or 2-player bowling game.

This one has some real challenging puzzles, but it's ALL using the booklet. And as you may have noticed from the lack of music, it's almost completely 2-XL saying "Turn me off, do this puzzle at your own pace, and then turn me back on and I'll check your work."

A classic! Considered to be the first action-adventure video game. Playing as the knight (or square depending on how you look at it), the player must quest to return the enchanted chalice to the gold castle by navigating through multiple mazes, all of the while, the 3 dragons are hunting the player. Adventure is also notable for containing the first video game Easter Egg. Can you find it?

A black and white mini golf game by Atari.

There are six rows of rocks to deal with. The game starts with a six-storied platform and the player loses one platform per row of rocks cleared. The player scores points for those rocks they prevent from reaching the ground. The farther the row of rocks, the smaller and faster they become. The ultimate goal is to get enough points so that the player can continue the game should they lose their first one.

In this very basic game, players move a small triangle around on the grid, while attempting to avoid the diamonds that are also moving around on the grid. Reaching the end of the grid teleports the player back to the front of the grid to gain points. The game is played on a 3x9 grid that is displayed at angle to make it appear to be in 3-D.

The player controls a spaceship and must maneuver it through a mine field. The player tries to beat the clock to destroy all the mines.

Blue Shark is a Light Gun Shooter game, developed and published by Bally/Midway.

The Atari version of the game of Bowling. There are six variations that effect the game play.

Updated version of the classic Breakout and based on the Pong, Breakout features the player controlling a paddle. The purpose is to clear the playing field of all of the bricks by rebounding a ball against the surfaces. If the player clears two levels, then the player is treated to eternity of the ball bouncing against an empty playing field unless they reset.

Clowns is a clone of the arcade game, Circus. In the game there are 3 rows of balloons floating horizontally along the top of the screen and you control a see-saw at the bottom of the screen that can go left or right. There is one clown standing on the see-saw and soon a second clown comes diving off an elevated platform and you have to position the see-saw correctly to catch him and launch the other clown into the air to collide with and pop the balloons.

Codebreaker is an Action game, published by Atari, which was released in 1978.

You're a frog on a lily pad and there's flies and insects flying around you. Jump and stick out your tongue to catch these critters. A dragonfly comes out towards the end of your game, if you catch the Dragonfly you get a free game.

A Pinball-flavored ball-and-paddle game.

General Information was the pack in tape distributed with 2-XLs from 1978 until 1981.

Since it's one of (if not the) very first 2-XL programs ever made, 2-XL's delivery is a little stiffer than usual, but he still goes out of his way to try to make himself your new best friend.

The booklet is used quite a bit, and 2-XL checks your work on almost all of the pages he sends you to. Since it's the introductory program, the book also has a page on 2-XL himself and how to take care of him.

The More Information button is used on this one for the actual clip of Neil Armstrong's words as he descends the ladder of the Apollo 11 Eagle to step foot on the moon.
