American Football, the intense game where muscle, brains, and passion collide. Whether playing yourself, or just watching others, you can't help but get into the 10-yard fight!
Offense tries to advance as far as they can towards the goal line. However, defense is ready to stop you with as many as 183 starting formations and as many as 133,407 plays they're trying to get yardage and win the game too! Size up each play slyly, yet quickly, and make a charge for the goal line! The game gradually gets harder as you get better. You start playing high school, then college, then pro, then play off, and finally Super Bowl level football.
Come up with game-winning strategies and nice moves for both offense and defense. So get on the gridiron and fight, fight, fight!

The game is a horizontal scrolling shooter in which you take control of a jetpack propelled space warrior who travels between parallel universes and worm holes (hence 4-D or 4 dimensions) throughout the game. By flying over the top of the play field, you end up in an alternate universe. You travel back and forth defeating enemies until you reach a boss creature. On some occasions a worm hole will appear in the middle of the play field and you are taken to even stranger worlds...

In this adventure game you control an explorer who's on his way to fortress Alcazar. To reach Alcazar you are traveling through a countryside of fortresses and you need to collect several items that you can find along the way. Once you enter the Alcazar fortress you have to search for the crown.
The strategy map gives you an overview of the countryside, it's fortresses and your location in it. What perils lurk in these mysterious castles? Which path is quick and safe? The Alcazar castle is three stories high, all other castles have only two stories. To enter a castle you just have to follow the path. Each castle has it's own sought-after objects and these objects are always guarded by the castles main demon. Objects to look for are for example: a rope, a gun, raw meat, water or a raft. Collect them and use them properly to master the legendary Alcazar fortress.
The game gives you clues and tells, for example, which monsters are nearby. Some monsters are really hard to kill.
The game can be played at four difficulty levels.

The basic theme of the game is "capture the flag (while protecting your own)". You can assemble offensive and defensive aids by picking up 'pieces' strewn about your half of the playfield. The pieces are color-coded, randomly created and distributed, and different objects require different numbers of pieces to assemble. Once you start assembling an object, you must finish assembling it (pick up enough pieces for it) and place it... or 'flush' the pieces you've picked up so far. Flush is mostly used for when you accidentally picked up the wrong color piece... or when you don't have the required pieces to assemble the rest of the object. A status bar shows what object is under construction, and how many more pieces are needed. Only one object can be assembled at a time. Once it is assembled, you must carry it to where you want to place or launch it and press the 'place' button.
There is a delay at the beginning of each round before the flags appear, and then a further delay before the midfield barrier comes down. Use this time to start assembling an offense or defense or both (this keeps the opponent from just starting each round by making a suicide dash for your flag). When the flags do appear, their placement is random, but within a small distance from the back wall of your half of the arena.
A round ends when an opposing flag is captured by a player, or when a player is destroyed by one of his opponent's offensive or defensive objects. There are all sorts of nuances to how the objects behave, how they score, etc.

Alpha Mission is a one-player scrolling shooter game, similar to Xevious in its segregation of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons. Missiles are used to destroy ground enemies, while laser-like weapons are used for aerial opponents. Throughout each of the levels, the player must fight off waves of enemies that threaten several space stations and a boss must be defeated at the end of each. Like most early games in this genre, when the player dies, all weapons are lost and the player is moved to a point slightly before the point of death. The player's craft can also be upgraded to have more powerful weapons by picking up various power-ups throughout the level.

Players take turns controlling two flying (angelic) children holding a rope. Pull the two joysticks outwards and the rope gets taut. This throws a third (normal) child into balloons, which when broken reveal items. The third child falls and you must move the angelic children with the rope beneath the falling child to allow the child to bounce again. There are items to collect to score points, while avoiding nasties on your journey up a tree. The tree looks like a beanstalk and as such, the game could be a parody on Jack and the Beanstalk.

As a penguin, you must travel around Antarctica, making your way between bases before time runs out. This sounds easy, right? Wrong. Hindering your progress will be ice crevices and leopard seals. You can jump over the crevices, but jumping over the leopard seals may be difficult. You can speed up or slow down the penguin to avoid both of these hazards. The bases include Australia, France, New Zealand, USA, Argentina, UK, and Japan. You can collect flags and eat fish for points. Collecting a flashing flag will allow you to wear a propeller that enable you to fly over those hazards.

An arm wrestling game in which the player takes on a number of different, distinctly cartoon-like opponents. The game's graphical styling is very similar to Nintendo's classic "Punch-out" series. Game-play requires that the player initially pushes the joystick to the left, but whenever the computer opponent starts to act, the player must push the joystick to the right to counter-attack, and press the button to increase power. If the counterattack is unsuccessful, moving the joystick back and forth several times will prevent the player from being pinned. The player's opponent must be pinned before the counter reaches one minute, or the match will be lost.

Destroy different enemy tanks, while trying to keep them away from your base. When you have destroyed 20 enemy tanks you advance to the next level with different layout. In each level there's some obstacles which you can use to your advantage. Obstacles include red bricks which you can shoot out of your way, silver bricks which are highly armored, water and ice. You start the game with a basic tank, which you can power up to better one little by little.
The game includes a construction mode, so you can make your own levels when you have played through all the 35 original levels.
Namco originally never licensed Battle City when it distributed it for the NES and Famicom. Due to the game's popularity it did how ever get the game licensed as to have it appear on Nintendo's Vs. Coin-op machines. This license carried over to both Battle City for the Gameboy and Namco Gallery Vol. 1, Battle City & Galaga.

In this game, you have to guide two penguins, one male and one female, through top-down vertical levels. The penguins are in love with each other and must be re-united! The penguins start on opposite sides, separated by walls, bricks, and other obstacles. You take control of one of the penguins. The other makes exactly the same movements as you, but in the opposite direction. So if for example you see an enemy to the left of the penguin you are not controlling, you have to fire to the right in order to hit it. You have to reach the top of the level in such a way that the two penguins will arrive at the top square at the same time, coming from opposite sides. Enemies such as spiders will put web on your way or attack you. You can kill them for points. There are various power-ups that appear randomly on the levels. You should also be careful not to run out of time.

Chack'n, the hero, must traverse 14 levels to find and marry his girlfriend.
The goal in each level is to get to the top floor. Chack'n destroys the bricks blocking his path by destroying the cages holding hearts that are scattered around the level. Once all the hearts have been freed, the path is opened and Chack'n must simply climb to the top to complete the level. Destroying monsters is completely optional. They start as eggs hanging around the levels. Chack'n is further constrained by a time limit: The ghost pushing the green object at the top of the screen represents a time limit. If the ghost reaches the right edge of the screen, Chack'n will lose a life. You can tell when this is about to happen, as two other ghost figures come to help push the green thing as the last few seconds tick off.
