Fly the U.S. Navy's top fighter, the F-14 Tomcat, in wave after wave of dangerous missions against all sorts of airborne foes. Ported from the hit arcade game.
Quite faithful - an almost perfect port, if it weren't for the choppy scaling. The game itself gets a little boring and repetitive after a while, but the action never slows down.

Arkanoid: Doh it Again gives the original Arkanoid an audiovisual facelift, while keeping the sweet and simple gameplay intact; guide a tubular ship along the bottom of the screen to deflect a perpetually moving ball into enemies or blocks at the top of the screen, destroying them. Some blocks yield power-up capsules, endowing your ship with shield or laser capabilities, extra lives, lengthening it, and more. A total of 99 levels are included, with nine bosses to defeat, multiple two-player modes and an Edit Mode for creating original levels. The only thing missing is a paddle controller, somewhat hindering the control.

Armed Police Batrider is a vertically scrolling manic shooter arcade game developed and published by Raizing/Eighting in 1998.
Story: In the year 2004, Manhattan was plagued with unprecedented levels of crime. No measure of law enforcement seemed able to combat the strife and violence, and so a desperate plan was brought forth by GiganTech Cybertronics Corporation. This plan was the artificial island Zenovia, two kilometers south of Manhattan, which would be patrolled by GiganTech's own robotic creations. A rapid exodus from Manhattan to Zenovia resulted.
However, by 2019, the promise of tranquility has not been fulfilled. Even with all the expansions to Zenovia the population influx called for, it has become something of a slum, except for the massive GiganTech headquarters. There have been quarrels over whether or not Zenovia should be regarded as being the jurisdiction of the United States, or just GiganTech. Crime, amazingly, has grown even more rapidly than Manhattan ever knew--partly because the GiganTech machines have been promoting everything EXCEPT law and order. The most horrific aspect, though, is the result of an intelligence investigation from the government...
GiganTech's own executives, both then and now, are actually among the most dangerous criminals the country has ever known. Zenovia, far from being planned as a refuge from violence, was actually a trap and a testing ground for the weapons GiganTech plans to use to become the sole power of the underworld.
Neither police nor armies are willing to commit against the mechanical forces that GiganTech commands and invade Zenovia. Therefore, nine fighters--three police, three convicts, and three psychics--have been drafted as "Zero-Cops", riding the BatRider airbikes against the forces invading Manhattan and charging into Zenovia to take down GiganTech's CEO and his ultimate weapon, known only as "Discharge".
Gameplay: Gameplay takes place across up to seven stages, with a varying number of bosses depending upon the player selection and whether certain hidden tasks have been performed during gameplay. During Advanced course, it is possible to fight as few as seven or as many as all eighteen of the game's bosses.
Pressing A fires the main Shot and, if the requisite powerups have been collected, the player's Options. Pressing B fires the Bomb, and pressing nothing powers up the Aura, a small energy field at the front of the player which causes damage.

Lace up those bowling shoes and get ready to play with with the pros in Brunswick World Tournament of Champions. Players can customize their bowler's clothes, handedness, spare ball and primary ball before they compete against 11 professional bowlers in six different tournaments: the Combat Zone Classic, The Quantum Open, The Las Vegas International, The Bayer Brunswick Tournament Players Championship, The Johnny Petraglia Open, and the Brunswick World Tournament of Champions.
You can participate in either a short or long tournament format, which determines how many bowlers you'll face and the number of qualifying games to play before moving on to the next round. The two other game modes include League (singles or team) and Practice, where you can play just one game by yourself. Bowling is performed by using two circular meters: time the button as each meter rises and you'll be able to determine the amount of power and spin. Having trouble? New users can opt to manually set the spin meter to make things easier. Tournament progress can be continued via passwords provided after each game.

BUST-A-MOVE 2 arrives on Game Boy in this slick port of the hugely popular arcade puzzle gam. In this one-player only game, bubbles of different colors descend from the top of the screen in clumps. Using your blaster that fires colored bubbles of your own, you must attempt to clear the screen as best as you can. Line up three bubbles of the same color, and they pop, leaving you a little more breathing room. BUST-A-MOVE 2 offers three unique modes of play. In Puzzle mode, you'll play through 100 stages of bubble-busting action in three different difficulty levels. To progress you have to clear out all of the bubbles, so plan your moves carefully. Time Attack mode is quite similar, except that you are now racing the clock to find the solutions. Lastly, in Versus Computer mode, you'll take on a computer opponent in a battle to see who caves first. You can string together combos to send trouble their way and ensure your victory. A password save option will help you keep track of your place so you can play again another day.

It was the Middle Ages in Transylvania. One man came into possession of an evil power, and the Prince of Darkness was born. Before long, this being used his new-found supernatural powers and the magic powers of his followers to spread his plague of darkness and despair throught the European continent. He was Count Dracula. Even to mention the name of this Prince of Darkness was to cast fear into the hearts of he people in the land, who were powerless to do anything save voice their concern. However, at about the same time a baby girl possessing special powers was born to a family living in a remote area of the country. "Your powers are meant for a higher purpose and not only for yourself," she was often reminded as she was growing up. The plot of this girl's fate began to develop one night in her seventeenth year when she met up with the young enigmatic Alucard, who was on a journey to search for the father that deserted him. The young girl's name was Sonia Belmont, and she was the first of the vampire hunters in the Belmont family to become legendary.

Chalvo 55 is a puzzle video game released in 1997 by Japan System Supply. It features the same main character as the cancelled Virtual Boy game Bound High.
Players control a robot named Chalvo; who can change forms into a ball. Five crystals are needed in order to reach the boss of each level. Enemies and spikes must be avoided or defeated at all times.
Often, the boss of the level operates a trap through a control panel and players must devise a workaround in order to defeat him. One of the glitches in the game is that the player can operate the trap (sometimes on himself) after the boss is defeated simply by activating the control panel. Eight stages are present in the game; with a secret password responsible for hiding a secret ninth level.
Players can view an area map in addition to a larger world map that states their position within the entire game. Movable hard blocks can be relocated in order to reveal hidden passageways; often with a crystal nearby.

A series of solid and challenging YACEG football sims utilizing the proven Madden game engine. Spotlights the top NCAA football picks for a given year. The first two games were endorsed by coaching legend Bill Walsh - he eventually moved on to the NFL, so the endorsement was dropped.
Every bit as fun as the Madden NFL series but set for the college scene. It really doesn't matter which one you have - aside from the graphics, the team rosters, and some minor tweaking of the AI, they're all pretty much the same game.
