Sporting international play, a training mode, World Cup competition, and two-on-two Beach Volleyball, Dig & Spike Volleyball is a relatively realistic V-ball simulation viewed from a slightly angled perspective, which is an improvement over the side-view found in Hyper V-Ball. However, when the ball is served, the screen scrolls too slowly, meaning its tough for the receiving team to maneuver his players into position. The game is also hampered by stiff and slow animation. On a positive note, there's a nice variety of shots, controls are solid, graphics are decent, and an inset radar shows gamers where all the players are located on the court.
