If you are a strategy buff, then you will go ape over what are the most sophisticated wargaming titles to be found for the platform. If you are an arcade gamer, look elsewhere - you will get bored fast.

In the South Pacific, Master Higgins lives peacefully wearing only a grass skirt and a cap. That is until the Evil Witch Doctor decides to capture the Princess Leilani and hold her as his own. It's up to Master Higgins to gather throwing axes, fireballs and skateboards in order to aid his noble quest.

The game is a side scroller, Master Higgins moves across the screen from left to right and finds his power-ups in giant eggs. Bosses await him at the end of levels, all the way to the Evil Witch Doctor himself.

Classic platformer, also released on NES, that stars players in the role of oddball mascot character Mr. Higgins. Mr. Higgins travels across several worlds, Mario style, fighting evil beings like turtles, floating skulls, and flying lizard things. Along with the various fruits that Mr. Higgins collects for points, he'll also run across eggs that hold various power ups. Using a skateboard upgrade, Mr. Higgins thrashes through jungles or over clouds. This allows him to rapidly move through levels and jump higher.

It'll be tough, that's for sure. So just remember sweet Tina, and how grateful she'll be when you come to her rescue!"

If you liked the first one you will love this one! This one has more twists that add on to the fun! When you see the item select screen you will think "whoa!", but that is not all! You will also see that there is more than three bonus games; Hudson Soft added an extra one for the fun! Now if you thought the first one was hard than try this one! So that basically means that you have a bigger chance of using your game-boy as a football and kick it a few yards away. However there is a password feature so you can just stop playing until your calmed down instead of kicking a field goal with your game-boy. The controls are almost exactly the same as the one for the classic Nintendo. Using your fingertips, you can master the controls!

The third game in the Adventure Island series, and again you help Master Higgins save his girlfriend Tina who has been captured by aliens. She's stranded somewhere on one of eight islands and you must find her. But be careful - each island is guarded by an enormous creature that's very hungry!

Fortunately, you have a little help. There are five kinds of friendly dinosaurs waiting to give you a lift. They're stuck in eggs that you'll need to crack open!

Hidden eggs are scattered all over the islands. By finding and breaking them open, you might get a bonus, or even a secret way to the next island! Just don't eat the eggplant...

So hop on one of your dinosaur pals, and ride your way to Tina's rescue!

This game is not like the first three installments in that there is not a scoring system involved. This game has more items to find to assist you in completing your quest.

The title of this series refers to the writer and director of the show, Carlton E. Morse. There were 52 episodes of this thirty-minute adventure series featuring a San Francisco detective, Captain Bart Friday, and his sidekick, Skip Turner. Captain Friday and Skip roamed the world together seeking danger and solving mysteries. The stories told bordered on the supernatural, though there was usually a rational explanation for the superbly written terror-chillers. 1944.

Your best girl Annabelle has been kidnapped by the evil Gordon, the "gangster king of Bourbon Street", and as Bayou Billy it is your job to get her back! Bayou Billy as an arcade action game with three different types of gameplay: fighting, shooting, and driving. The fighting sections take place in both swamps and cities, where you can punch, kick, and jump kick the numerous enemies (and swamp creatures!) you will encounter. The shooting section can be played with either the Nintendo Light Zapper or the controller. You have a limited amount of ammo to get through the level, and if you run out you lose a life. In the driving section your jeep is armed with machine guns and grenades to help get past the many enemy vehicles on the way to your destination. There is a total of nine levels, or you can play in the practice mode which lets you choose to play a fighting, shooting, or driving round individually.

NOTE: Captain Comic is the most popular name for this game, but on the title screen and in the manual it is called "The Adventures of Captain Comic" and on the manual cover and the cartridge itself is called "Captain Comic The Adventure."

The elders of Osmic had come in full regalia, feathers and banners and the heavy gold chains of office, bet the formal procession of leaders had not carried the hereditary badges of office - the Crown of the Ages, the Mystical Gems of Lascorbanos of the Thousand Coins of Tenure. These had been stolen, most wickedly purloined, in an attempt to jeopardize the forthcoming festivities of the Trimillenial and were now reputedly hidden on the planet Tambi.

So they came to you - Captain Comic, galactic hero, righter of wrongs, and all around nice guy. It was most gratifying-ignore the rumor that they had first gone to Orion O'Brian, that mercenary thug, and he had turned them down, calling the job "insanely dangerous" and saying the entire planet of Tambi, from its endless blue lakes to its impossibly blue moon, had not one cubic centimeter where a person could feel safe - nor a single benign life form. Tambi was a land of surprises - all bad.

Well, you're on the job now. Using your keen wits and well-honed reflexes, you must traverse the ever-changing and treacherous environs of Tambi and return the treasures of Osmic in time for the Trimillenial celebrations. Succeed, and you will be honored as a hero once more; fail, and three thousand years of galactic peace and prosperity crumble to comic - uh - cosmic trust.

This surfer dude-type Frankenstein Monster named Franky, and his girlfriend Bitsy, planned to vacation in New York City when Bitsy discovers she didn't have a passport. Unfazed by this setback, Franky dismantles Bitsy and ships her via the Transylvanian post office. Unfortunately, the package gets lost and ends up in 20 locations around the globe. Franky's job? Hunt down the missing packages so he can travel back to Transylvania and reassemble Bitsy.

Franky is this rather diminutive undead dude with a large, square head. His skin is green; he wears shades, purple shorts, an orange T-shirt, and dark shades. Equipped with smart bombs, his fighting maneuvers include left, right, overhead kicks, and stun punches. As he runs, jumps, climbs, and fights his way through castles, buildings, dungeons, caves, etc., gathering up the pieces of his best girl, he is attacked by kids on pogo sticks, disembodied heads, undead chefs, grim reapers, ghosts, giant fire-breathing frogs, and many other freaky enemies. Occasionally, Frankie must control a crane, maneuver platforms, ride a raft, and jump on a springboard to reach inaccessible items. Help comes in the form of extra lives, units of energy, smart bombs, shields, and super jumps as Franky searches for the four parcels in each of the twenty locations. After gathering all four, he needs to find the exit before time runs out.
