Battle Lode Runner is a video game based on the Lode Runner series of games, originally released for the NEC PC Engine by Hudson Soft in 1993
Like other games in the Lode Runner series, Battle Lode Runner's gameplay revolves around traveling through 11 different time periods, collecting gold without being caught by many creatures. Your character can climb ropes and ladders, walk on top of enemies, collect power-ups, and most importantly, dig a hole on the right or left of himself. In some versions you can set traps, but Battle Lode Runner doesn't contain this feature.

Based, sort of, on Lupin III, one of the most famous manga/anime series of all time. Lupin is a descendant of Arsene Lupin, a thief who was the main character of mystery novels written by Maurice LeBlanc. Monkey Punch (Katou Kazuhiko), Lupin III's creator, used the Lupin name without permission, and the estate of LeBlanc agreed not to raise too much of a fuss so long as Lupin III remained in Japan. This is why early US/European releases of Lupin titles changed his name to things like 'The Wolf' and 'Rupan'. The copyrights to the Arsene Lupin name have since passed into the public domain.

One of the excellent celebrity endorsed football games by one of the true legends of the sport. For those of you unfamiliar with American pro football, John Madden started out as a player, then moved on to become a coach, then after retiring became one of the game's most popular television sportscasters. The basic game engine and outstanding gameplay remained the same throughout, with all the usual tweaking and fiddling with the graphics, sound, and user options. It really doesn't matter which one in the series you play - they're all worth the trouble. The series spawned many imitators over the years, but few came close to matching this football gaming classic.
The first game from this legendary series of American football games. John Madden Football ('91) features over 100 of Coach Madden's own plays and has team stats coming out of the wazoo. Impressive in itself and set the benchmark for other football games, but the sequels are far superior.

The most notable feature of this second game in the series is the crude attempt at digital animation during Coach Madden's lectures.

In John Madden Football '93 the graphics as a whole have improved considerably, along with the digital animation - now Coach Madden looks like he's dancing the rhumba, but at least he's recognizable. Also adds split-screen play calling, quarterback "stop clock" gameplay, and no-huddle offenses.

John Madden Football 93 - Championship Edition is useridentical to its precursor (John Madden Football 93) in almost every feature save one - it also includes the eight greatest NFL teams up to that time, so now you can relive classic matchups or try out your favorite what-if scenarios - this was a Blockbuster videogame rental exclusive.

With Madden NFL 96 somebody must have complained about the lack of digitized graphics in the previous game, because this installment includes way too many digitized graphics and sound for its own good.

For the first time in the Madden series an NFL license has been acquired, allowing you to play as real teams from the 1993-94 season. In total, there are 28 NFL teams, 38 Super Bowl teams since 1966, twelve All-Time Franchises since 1950 and two All-Madden teams. While the game continues to use the vertical playing perspective with three passing windows, players are now much larger than before and have new running and tackling animations.
Rounding out the features are 72 new plays that can be flipped in the opposite direction, reverse-angle instant replay, audibles that can be customized at any time, a bluff mode to disguise plays, and support for up to four players with the 4-Way Play adaptor. This 16-Meg cartridge also includes a battery to save your progress during the season.

Madden NFL '96 is a football video game designed for the 1995 NFL season, licensed by the NFL.
Among the innovations in Madden 96, the Create A Player feature was added, which included many position specific mini-games that would determine the ability of the player. The AI has also been boosted and can now hurry in two-minute drill situations, spike the ball, and cover the receivers with better efficiency.
The game also was the first in the Madden series to include secret "classic" teams, which were unlocked by playing any of the 28 pre-expansion NFL franchises in the playoffs and by winning Super Bowl XXX with that team (a rather easy feat as the playoff tournament system allows a player to abort the game while in the lead and still win). The 28 pre-expansion teams were each represented by a classic era equivalent, which ranged from 1960 (Philadelphia Eagles) to 1986 (New York Giants), although all players useridentified as number-only. Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers, having debuted in 1995, did not have a secret classic team revealed in this manner, nor did the All-Madden team.

This was the first edition of Madden to implement the use of a salary cap when customizing team rosters. It also featured the new Baltimore Ravens, the expansion franchise that absorbed the roster of the Cleveland Browns for the 1996 season. The game also adds a team of real free agents (as opposed to the blank slate used in Madden 96) which can be traded and added to other teams' rosters (led by recently semi-retired quarterback Randall Cunningham), and could be played by using a cheat code.
Classic teams were once again used, although most were different from the previous year's teams; the years ranged as far back as 1952 (Detroit Lions) and as recent as 1990 (Buffalo Bills). Jacksonville and Carolina, once again, did not get classic teams, but Baltimore was attached to a classic Cleveland Browns team.
The best team in the overall ranking, with a score of 85 was the Dallas Cowboys and the worst team with a score of 62 was the Baltimore Ravens. The best ranked offenses were between the Cowboys and the Lions with a score of 92. The St.Louis Rams had the best ranked defense with an 86. The Miami Dolphins had the best ranked special teams with a 93.

Madou Monogatari: Big Kindergarten Kids (AKA Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji ), is a role-playing video game for the Super Famicom released in Japan on January 12, 1996.
The gameplay is a traditional role-playing game with some unique twists. For example, there are no numerical stats. Instead, everything is represented by the character's facial expressions and sprites.[3] The game was intended for small children who do not have the ability to count figures in their head. Another is the complete lack of physical attacks (similar to Harry Potter or magical girl anime). Everything utilizes a magical element: Fire, Ice Storm, Thunder, and Bayoen. Some enemies are weaker against one particular magic attack than another.
