Action Man: Search for Base X is an action video game developed by Natsume and published by THQ.
The game's plot centers around the protagonist Alex "Action" Mann, and his mission to stop the evil Dr. X from releasing a weapon of mass destruction. Action Man must find Dr. X's base by playing through levels in various locales. The player is given a variety of suits for Action Man to wear in different situations, including a parka, a wet suit, and a space suit. Each level can be completed multiple times in order to achieve different goals; the correct suit is not required on the first completion of a level, but later attempts require specific suits to bypass obstacles. By wearing different suits, alternate paths in levels can be discovered.
The gameplay is similar to other 16-bit era action video games. The game contains fifteen missions for the player to complete spread through six main areas. The player is allowed to choose two weapons to bring into battle with them, such as a crossbow and a pistol. The game allows the player to jump, run, swim, and climb through various areas of the game, allowing for a more varied experience.

Aliens: Thanatos Encounter is a top-down action game taking its main inspiration from the second film in the Alien franchise.
Story: A platoon of Colonial Marines, en route to Earth from a training mission, are awakened from hypersleep by a distress signal from the space freighter Thanatos. Ordered to board the massive ship and investigate the situation, they find themselves inside a nightmare: a massive infestation of xenomorphs.
Gameplay: Before each level, the player can choose from five different characters, all with unique stats such as health and stamina. If a character runs out of health, they don't actually die. Instead, they are captured for egg insemination. Like in TMNT for the NES, you can rescue your captured team mates. However you only have 200 seconds to do so before they are permanently taken off your roster. Weapons include a standard-issue pistol, there are shotguns, pulse rifles, flame throwers, grenade launchers and smartguns to be found in the levels. Available from the start is the motion tracker radar, displaying both human survivors as well as hostile aliens.

Story: Cobi and Tara are both in a family of monster breeders who have come to the Kingdom of Greatlog to make a living. Shortly after they arrive, their mother tells them to pick up a Nut Pie from the Vault. As they are heading towards the Vault, they run into the Prince and his companion Warubou, making trouble for the townspeople. Unfortunately, after they get the pie, it is taken by the Prince and his cohort.[2] Cobi and Tara follow them to a cave underneath the kingdom, where the two are arguing about who should get the goods. Cobi and Tara try to get the pie back but, in the process, knock a big plug out of a hole. The Prince leaves frantically and Warubo uses himself to plug up the hole. He tells Cobi and Tara that the plug allows the island of GreatLog to stay afloat and without it, it will sink. He tells them to get a monster master and ask for his or her assistance. But when they cannot find anyone, Warubou says that they will have to do it. A quest to save the kingdom has now begun.
Gameplay: Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 allows the player to form a team of monsters from various Dragon Quest games. Controlling either Cobi or Tara, the player begins on Greatlog, where there are various shops, a monster farm, breeding area, and an arena. By advancing in the story, the player is given keys that unlock new worlds from Greatlog, which acts as a base for the player. There are other keys which feature randomly created worlds for the player to explore. In the optional worlds, the player needs to fight a certain number of monsters to reach the final, randomized boss of the world. Some of the worlds feature rare monsters, while some have very common monsters, depending on the name of the key.

Story: As 'Hamtaro' enters the Clubhouse, Boss is in need of help. He asks you for a name and once you give him it, he tells you that he needs all the ham-hams back at the Clubhouse. Before you are to go out and look for them, he teaches you four basic Ham-Chat words, and scribbles down some others.
You are then sent on your merry way in search of the hamsters. You are able to explore several locations in which two to three ham-hams are in.
Gameplay: The player (Hamtaro) is controlled by the D-pad, and holding down the B button allows the player to run. Pressing A will open a dialogue box with different Ham-chat words depending on context. For instance, standing next to a sunflower seed and selecting "hif-hif" will pick up the seed, while standing next to an NPC and selecting "Hamha" will open a dialogue with the character. Different options will yield different outcomes, rolling (Tack-Q) into NPCs will usually elicit a negative response. Objects in the world can be interacted with, like climbing trees and pulling drawers open.
