Ristar, known as Ristar the Shooting Star in Japan, is a platform game.
Similar to games in the Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog series, except for focusing less on jumping and speed, and more on Ristar's stetchable arms game mechanic. Ristar has very long, stretchable arms, that he uses to grab objects, throw objects, and climb or ascend/descend levels.[15] This is also his main means of attacking enemies; he grabs them and then proceeds to pull himself towards them into a "headbutt" motion, to defeat them.
The game also features "cranks" (Referred to as "Star Handles") that, when grabbed by Ristar, spin him around and around until letting go, which shoots him off in a given direction.[16] If he has enough momentum, Ristar will begin to fly with a trail of stars behind him,in a move called "Meteor Strike", which makes him invincible and able to kill any enemy touched. When enough momentum is lost, flight ceases, and he drops to the ground back into his normal state.

Road Rash introduced an interactive race environment, with street signs, trees, poles, and livestock, which could interact with the player's vehicle. This was also one of the earlier games to feature active traffic, which created a more immersive and realistic environment, as the player had to contend with slow moving station wagons and the like while racing against other bikers. Aside from high speed, big-air, and spectacular crashes, what separated Road Rash from other racing games was its combat element. The player could fight other bikers with a variety of hand weapons or kick away other racers. The player would initially start off with just his or her hands and feet, but if the gamer timed a punch right, he or she could grab a weapon from another rider. The weapons themselves ranged from clubs, crowbars, nunchaku, and cattle prods. Fights between riders to knock each other off the bike would often go on at high speeds through traffic, pedestrians and roadside obstacles, with the victor gaining place and the loser sustaining bike damage and losing time.

Robocop 3 is a traditional single-player, side-scrolling game with a storyline and background that loosely follows the film. A unique, memorable feature is the fact that each of RoboCop's body parts has a separate damage rating. Heavily damaged parts can result in "malfunctions," such as erratic firing (if the arm holding the weapon is damaged) or difficulty walking (if legs are damaged). The player has the opportunity to repair RoboCop's parts between levels.

The game is set in the late 18th century and all the characters wield weapons. The game uses comparatively authentic music from the time period, rife with sounds of traditional Japanese instruments, such as the shakuhachi and shamisen, and a refined version of the camera zoom first found in Art of Fighting. True to its use of bladed weapons, the game also included copious amounts of blood.
The game quickly became renowned for its fast pace, focused more on quick, powerful strikes than the combos. As to emphasize the distinction of this gameplay system, slow motion was added to intensify damage dealt from hard hits. Also during a match, a referee held flags representing each player (player 1 was white; player 2 red). When a player landed a successful hit, the referee would lift the corresponding flag, letting everyone watching know who dealt the blow. To lessen the repetition of fights, a delivery man running in the background threw items such as chicken (that healed) or bombs, which could significantly change the outcome of a play.

SD Gundam Winning History is an unusual game. It's like a strategy game in that you have various units you move around to attack your foes. However, when you actually engage your foes, the game switches to a side-view action style game, where you fly around the battlefield and attempt to shoot your opponent into smithereens. Which would seem to kind of eliminate the whole strategy part.

He sent his servant, the Snake King Zahhark, to attack the kingdom of Shanadar founded by Jamseed. Jamseed was killed and the world reverted to an age of darkness. When 1000 years had passed, a warrior named Fallidoon defeated Zahhark and brought peace back to the world.

The game consists of a series of turn-based tactical battles interspersed with short cutscenes. Between cutscenes the player is allowed to save the game, promote characters, resurrect fallen characters, and sometimes buy and sell weapons and healing items. The combat and leveling mechanics are useridentical to those of Shining Force I.
Due to the linear progression of the game, the English menus, and the use of gameplay mechanics useridentical to other installments of the series, the game is easily playable by non-Japanese speakers, though keeping track of equipped weapons can present some minor difficulties.

Shining Force Gaiden 3: Final Conflict is the third of the Gaiden sub-series, and is both a sequel to the original Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention, and a prequel to Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing.
Story: Max, the leader of the Shining Force from the first Shining Force game, is chasing the witch Mishaela (servant of the presumably dead villain Darksol, from the same game). One of Max's companions, the robot Adam, is injured in battle with Mishaela. Max's party stops to help the robot, and only Max and his companion Ridion continue the chase.
Unfortunately, Max and Ridion never came back from the chase. Led by a man named Ian, Max's remaining companions set out to find them, and the unexpected awaits...
Gameplay: Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict uses gameplay useridentical to Shining Force Gaiden I and II. Like most games from the series, the three Gaiden games do not possess an exploration mode. Between battles, the player is able to buy and sell items, choose the battle party, cure and resurrect units, and save the game.

Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya, AKA Shining Force Gaiden II: Jashin no Kakusei, uses gameplay mechanics useridentical to those of its predecessor, Shining Force Gaiden. The player progresses through a series of turn-based tactical battles interspersed with short cutscenes. Between cutscenes the player is allowed to save the game, promote characters, resurrect fallen characters, and sometimes buy and sell weapons and healing items. As with most strategy RPGs, the battlefields are divided up into a grid where player characters and enemies take turns moving, attacking, casting magic and using items. Player characters gain experience by battling enemies, and may choose, once they reach level 10, to upgrade their class into a more powerful one.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This game will randomly freeze. You will not be able to complete the game without running into a major bug in the game a couple times. But if you make frequent save states you will be able to eventually finish the game.

Plot: Rumors of terror and destruction have made their way to Ninja Valley. The Master of the Oboro school of shinobi sends his best students to investigate the horrible tales coming from the suburban areas. They return with news of a powerful dark force that has established a base within Neo City. The Master knows that only a warrior trained in the arts of ninjutsu can stand against this menace. One by one his greatest pupils enter Neo City to locate and destroy the source of the evil. Ninja Valley has lost contact with each of them. All are believed to be captured. It is now up to Joe Musashi, the Red Shinobi, to carry through this dire mission. As the oldest and strongest of his ninja disciples, Musashi must use his special skills in the art of ninjutsu to free his fellow shinobi. With their combined strength, they can destroy the City of Fear.
Gameplay: The game mechanics of The G.G. Shinobi is similar to that seen in The Revenge of Shinobi. Movement is limited to walking, attacking and jumping. To compensate the restriction of action however, The G.G. Shinobi offers a unique mechanic to add variety. The objective of the game is to free four ninjas held captive by the evil crime organization: pink ninja, blue ninja, green ninja and yellow ninja. When a stage is completed, the freed ninja joins the player's party and can be switched to during play. Each ninja comes equipped with a unique weapon, ninjitsu and skill.

Once inside the comic book world, Bart transforms into his superhero alter ego Bartman and has to defeat three super villains that have stolen Radioactive Man's powers: Swamp Hag, Dr. Crab, and Lava Man.
