This game was in black and white, not greyscale (like many early games used), but just 2 colors, black and white. But the characters and animals were large, and very detailed for just using a single color. There were 4 different animals that you could hunt. Snakes and lions were both rather slow moving, and good for 100 points each. Wild boars would run quickly across the screen, but would net you 200 for a kill. Finally, vultures were small and would move around erratically near the top of the screen (being worth 300 points if you could hit them). Touching any of the beasties meant instant death, but it mattered little, because this game played on time limits anyway. Death only meant that you would lose a few seconds waiting for your intrepid big game hunter to reappear (the game lasted 90 seconds total).

Darius was once a planet that boasted a highly advanced civilization, but fell into ruin after succumbing to the relentless assaults of Belser and his mysterious space aliens. Proco and Tiat, two survivors of Belser's evil quest, escaped and fled to the planet Orga where they began a new civilization. Centuries later, the descendants of Proco and Tiat received a strange radio signal emitted from a distant part of their galaxy. To their amazement, it was a May Day signal from another line of Darius descendants who also had survived Belser's terrible assault. Team with the Organites aboard the spacecraft Silver Hawk and blast with them across the galaxy to rescue what remains of the once-proud civilization of Darius.

Sailor Moon R is a Beat-'Em-Up game.
Sailor Moon R, AKA Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R, is the sequel to Sailor Moon and introduced a new playable character, Chibiusa. Unlike other Sailor Moon games, Sailor Moon R was developed and published by Bandai, instead of Angel. The sprites from the previous game were redesigned with more detail and more animation frames for this game and the later games. Like the Mega Drive version of the previous game, the bosses has their own theme music. By playing the game on hard mode, there is a minor change to the ending that involves Sailor Pluto.

You play a warrior possessed with mystic powers who does that superhero thing of battling endless hordes of evil beings. Arcade game based on the Japanese anime series Saint Seiya. A Spanish-dubbed version of the show was also syndicated throughout Central and South America under the title Los Caballeros del Zodiaco.
Looks and plays much like the first Valis game. If you can handle that, then you can handle this.

Salamander is a shooter by Konami and conversion of their own arcade game originally released in 1986. The players takes control of an highly advanced space-fighter called the Vic Viper and fights his way through relentless hordes of aliens and globulous brains. Power-up icons are scattered throughout the game and upgrade the ship in various ways - speed up, missiles, lasers, ripple lasers and force fields. The game features a unique stage layout and alternates horizontal and vertical levels. Each area is specifically engineered to create an immersive gameplay from deadly organic tentacles to hostile fire snakes. Finally, Salamander features a two simultaneous player option and a second player can join the party and pilot the Lord British space fighter. Interestingly, the two ships can even be controlled in single-player mode.

Salamander is a 1 or 2 player sequel to 1985's superb shoot-em-up, "Nemesis". While it retained the same basic gameplay and feel of its predecessor (particularly the superb and innovative weapons system), Salamander featured both superior graphics and a more imaginative approach to level design. The earliest example of the latter appears towards the end of the very first level, in which imposing, organic obstructions grow before the players' eyes. The game's third level - the infamous 'lava' level - is another good example of Salamander's superb design; with huge solar flares constantly erupting both above and below the player's ship that must be carefully navigated to avoid instant loss of life. Salamander introduced further variety to the action with the introduction vertically-scrolling levels, which alternated with the standard side-scrolling levels.
Salamander's weapon power-up system is as follows : * SPEED UP : Five speed levels. * MISSILE : Press missile button to launch. * LASER : Your forward rockets turn into deadly lasers. * RIPPLE LASER : Use shoot button to fire. * FORCE FIELD : Protect your ship with barriers. * MULTIPLE : Increase your fire power by up to four times.
Multiple special powers can be obtained, but the LASER cannot be used in conjunction with the RIPPLE Laser.

A one or two player shoot-em-up released ten years after the game it sequels, Salamander 2 remains faithful to the superb 1986 original; retaining both the organic look and feel of the graphics, as well as the horizontal and vertically scrolling levels. While the game doesn't break any new ground gameplay-wise, and is little more than a retread of (and tribute to) the original game, what it does it does very well; and the graphics in particular are nothing short of stunning.
