Roger Rabbit has been framed for the murder of Marvin Acme, head of the Acme Corporation. Acme's will states that upon his death, Toon Town would be left ot the Toons, but the will is nowhere to be found. You have to find the will and save your wife, Jessica, from Judge Doom and his weasels.

The game takes place in Hollywood, 1947, where Toons are alive. There are 4 levels in the game, 2 of which are driving levels (levels 1 & 3). Roger and Benny the cab have to beat the weasels to the destination, while dodging cars, trams and Judge Doom's dip which is scattered on the road. There are pick-ups to help you on your way.

Level 2 is the Ink & Paint Club. The will is on one of the tables. Roger has to pick up all the pieces of paper the penguin waiters put down, whilst avoiding the alcohol and gorilla bouncer.

Level 4 has you in Judge Dooms warehouse trying to save your wife, Jessica from the dip truck. You have to use gags to progress and make the weasels laugh themselves to death, literally!

In the NES days, Jaleco was probably best known for their mediocre Bases Loaded baseball games. Along with those games, Jaleco also released some other great and forgettable games. One of those games is Whomp ?Em, a much overlooked action game that came out near the beginning of the end of the NES?s shelf life.

Jaleco made a fairly decent platformer here, with some of the best music and graphics to come out on an NES game. Each level in the game is very well thought out, and the game itself is quite challenging. Whomp ?Em is an excellent action game that was unfortunately never really discovered by the gaming public.

Widget is a game about a perpetually smiling purple alien who must save earth from a gang of alien invaders. The action consists of side scrolling jumping and shooting. However, Widget has the capacity to transform into a variety of other creatures and objects ("widgets") which have application in different situations. These alternate widget forms include a cannon, a mouse, a rock-man, a bird-man, and a dolphin. Transforming uses up magic points which must be replenished. Widget also communicates with a helper named Mega Brain via a wristwatch device.

Far, far away on the planet Pum, the wabbits were happy. That is, until they were taken away. Who will save them?

Yet another tongue-in-cheek first class platformer from the creators of the almighty Shadow of the Beast. This is a game that takes full advantage of the hardware, and is the only non-Sonic game that has the same ultra-fast feel in its gameplay. The level design isn't as good as as a Sonic game, but the graphics are just as good as Sonic 3's. Highly recommended.

Dorothy can kick, shoot with Glinda's wand, and jump. She's trying to see the Wizard of Oz so he can send her home, and she also wants to get Toto back from the Wicked Witch of the West. The Scarecrow is the most vulnerable and lightest member of the party. He can jump and shoot gems, and attack with a pitchfork. If he gets too close to crows, they fly away. He's the second character you get. The Tin Man is the toughest character, but also the heaviest, so he can't jump. He can still shoot gems, kick, and attack with his axe. He's the third character you get. The Cowardly Lion is cowardly, and almost as good as Dorothy. He can jump, throw gems, and attack with his paws. He can also climb trees. He is the fourth and final character you receive.

The third installment of Wizards & Warriors for the NES divulges during the intro that the evil wizard Malkil was not actually vanquished at the end of the second game. In fact, after the mighty battle with the hero Kuros, Malkil retreated to a nearby self-contained castle kingdom and conducted a hostile takeover. Kuros comes on the scene and must attempt to relieve Malkil of his ill-gotten command of the kingdom, its subjects, and especially its princesses.

The third game in the Wizards & Warriors NES franchise features a similar feel to the first two games in that Kuros' movements are very quick and nimble. The player also has the ability to control Kuros' sword swing movements. However, Kuros has three different character classes to alternate between-- the knight, the thief, and the wizard. Each represents trade-offs between speed, attack strength, and defense strength. There are various guilds throughout the game devoted to training knights, thieves, and wizards where the player must complete challenging obstacle courses in order to increase their character class level.

The gameplay proceeds up a large vertical city/castle with dangerous, monster-filled hallways and caverns. Kuros must kill monsters, gather money, buy goods and services, raise his character class levels, rescue a variety of apprehended princesses and gather special jewels, all in a quest to face off with Malkil once again.

In Wolfchild you must punch and shoot (with various psychic power blasts) your way through five levels of mutant lizards, hostile plants, giant mutated insects, and other sick and twisted creatures on your way to freeing your captured father. The play fields include a giant battle cruiser filled with assault squads, a jungle saturated with giant trees, and an ancient temple riddled with traps.

One day your father, the brilliant Kal Morrow, was happily working away in his lab, perfecting plans for the ultimate war machine -- a being with the brains of a man and the instincts and strength of a wolf. But the evil Karl Draxx, head of international terrorist gang Chimera, foiled his plans by kidnapping him and killing his wife, who also happens to be your mom. This makes you understandably angry and you swear by all that is holy (and unholy) that you will exact vengeance on this terrible man and his gang.

You were a pretty good athlete in your day, but you know that you're no match for an entire regimen of megalomaniacs, terrorists, fanatics, and scumbags. Luckily, while pushing a few buttons on your father's computer, you stumble across a mysterious program called Project Wolfchild. You eagerly step into the transmutation booth and activate the program. Instantly you are transformed from a mild-mannered oceanographer into a lycanthropic warrior equipped with incredible strength, psychic powers, and a mean left hook. Now you are ready to face anything or anyone and go rescue your father.

Dr. Kal Morrow, expert in genetic research and creation of human-animal hybrids, has been kidnapped and his family brutally murdered by the terrorist organization CHIMERA. His surviving son Saul takes it upon himself to avenge his family. Using his father's research, he turns into a man-wolf and sets out to find CHIMERA's base and defeat their leader Karl Draxx.

As Saul, it is your job to traverse five different areas on your way to Draxx. When Saul collects enough power-ups, he turns into his wolf form and gains a special psychic shot attack, which can be improved by collecting more power-ups. However, if Saul loses health, he turns back into his human form and only has his fists to fight the numerous enemies.

A very ordinary, run-of-the-mill platformer where you shoot the bad guys and collect hearts for power. Everything about this release is average.

The story to this game is a real stumper. Wolverine doesn't know where he is. He takes a look around and finds a door. after some thought about what to do, he enters the door, seeing that there isn't much else to do.

As you can see, not very strong story wise. It can be forgiven, though, seeing that it's only a platform.

There are about 9 or 10 levels (or 'trials') in wolverine, each with a different theme (except for the first and last two trails) such as 'trail by air', where you have to jump lots and lots of platforms and panels, or 'trail be water', where you have to swim through a water maze, occasionally resurfacing for air. Pretty simple.

Story:
The game follows Wolverine as he receives a mysterious transmission via computer; someone or something has information about his past and arranges for them to meet at an undisclosed location in Canada. It's here where the game's first stage begins; a laboratory teeming with armed guards and sentry robots.

Gameplay:
The game share similarities with Nintendo's Metroid franchise, as Wolverine jumps and attacks through large multi-floored levels, attacking doors to give him access to new areas. Each level requires a set amount of enemies to be destroyed before entry to the next area is granted. A password function enables the player to continue the game at any level. Upon taking damage, his energy will recover overtime thanks to his mutant healing factor.

The "Wonder Boy" in question is a character known as "Tom-Tom" - a caveman-like character whose girlfriend, by the name of Tanya, has been captured by a monster. The player must guide Tom-Tom through seven "areas", each consisting of four "rounds". The levels are made up of forests, hills, oceans, caves, ice palaces and occasionally mountains lands. The levels always run from left-to-right, with some vertical movement.

Tom-Tom can arm himself with a stone hammer, which he can throw at oncoming foes, a skateboard with which he can rush through the levels and survive one attack by an enemy, and temporary protection by a fairy which allows him to destroy foes by simply running into them. All of the aforementioned power-ups are obtained by breaking open eggs. These eggs can also contain unpleasant surprises - curses which cause Tom-Tom to lose vitality more quickly than usual, and poisonous mushrooms which reduce Tom-Tom's vitality in one go.
