Game & Watch Gallery 2 presents players with Modern and Classic incarnations of five Game & Watch titles: "Chef," "Parachute," "Donkey Kong," "Vermin," and "Helmet."
"Chef" sees players trying to continuously balance various food items using two frying pans. The objective here is to ensure that food does not fall on the floor or get snatched by a cat lurking above. In "Parachute" players attempt to maneuver a small rowboat across the screen, catching parachutists as they fall from the sky. Reminiscent of the NES title of the same name, "Donkey Kong" requires players to save the princess from the barrel-hurling simian by avoiding traps and unhooking the cable supports of the platform on which he rests.
"Vermin" has players trying to stave off the advances of numerous moles by simply hitting them on the head with a mallet as they emerge from the ground. As a hapless worker in "Helmet," players must avoid falling objects while making for the safety of a shed.

In a completely different style from the first Nintendo Godzilla game from Toho, you play as Japanese military forces fighting against Godzilla. Because Godzilla is such a ferocious monster, this is no easy task... in fact, your attacks to Godzilla don't actually do any damage to him at all. Strategy instead becomes the main point of play as you must position forces in strategic points to route Godzilla away from important buildings and into other areas where his movement will be less destructive to the city. Actual success of these routing attacks is imperfect, if one is not careful, the whole offensive will fall apart over a single missed attack.Beware Godzilla!

In the year 2XXX A.D. , Earth is under attack from the aliens of Planet X. Armed with monsters of terrible of terrible destructive force, the invaders establish bases on every planet of the solar system. These monsters include the foes Gezora, Moguera, Baragon, Varan, Hedorah, Gigan, Mecha-Godzilla and King Ghidora. To combat the menace, Earth sends two of it's own monsters, Godzilla and Mothra, in order to drive back the invaders of Planet X.
Gozilla is a game of alternating turns between the player and the AI. On each turn, the player may select either Godzilla or Mothra and move them across a hex field map taking place on one of the planets of the solar system. Any tiles of the hex field that are crossed must be battled through by the selected monster during an action sequence. Enemies and obstacles encountered depend on the terrain type, which include mountainous, jungle, volcano, alien city, underwater and special. Encounters against enemy monsters on the map may also take place. These boss battles last 90 seconds, with either one side's monster being defeated or the turn ending.
Mothra can move four tiles each turn and has additional mobility through her flying. She fires red laser bolts from her eyes and can unleash special pollen bombs that she drops at an angle downwards. Godzilla can only move two tiles each turn but is the stronger creature. He can punch, kick, swipe with his tail, jump and unleash radioactive breath on everything in front of him.

Players select from one of eight different monsters from the Godzilla movies and battle in a variety of locations.
No matter which monster you select, you are taken to a map of Japan and must select your opponent to battle. Battles take place in the familiar 2D fighting screen seen in Street Fighter 2, though the game plays more akin to the SNES Dragonball Z fighting games. Each round has a time period of sixty seconds during which each monster fights with a variety of attacks to wear their opponent's energy bar down and win the round. At the end of the round, the player's score is tallied up based on time, energy and the level of their opponent. Once every enemy monster has been defeated, the player enters the eighth, final round and must face Mechagodzilla 2 or Atragon. Upon the defeat of on of those monsters, the credits roll and the game ends.
Each monster has a variety of standard and unique, special attacks and the ability to block. Standard attacks include light and heavy physical attacks (punch, kick, etc.) and varying degrees of energy-based attacks, a dash attack and a grab attack. Each monster also appears to have the ability to stun the opponent with a loud roar. As a succession of hits is landed, the monster will glow red and be stunned for several seconds, while a separate energy bar fluctuates, presumably either to increase the strength of the monster's attack power or the possibility of stunning the opponent. Monsters are able to use their projectile attacks to block oncoming projectiles, similar to Street Fighter 2, and sometimes the two clash in a brief test-of-strength encounter.

Although the scaly, atomic-breathing mutant might have been a sinister creature at one point, he's now reformed thanks to a small team of humans who've helped him work through his problems. Now he's dedicated his life to saving the planet from the other giant monsters that have begun to spring up around the globe. There's only one problem: No one else knows this, and they'll seek to destroy Godzilla even while he tries to help them.
While the game put you in control of the giant monster, you only have a limited control over his actions. The game plays more like a shooter than other monster games such as King of the Monsters or Rampage.

Choose from 3 characters and match skill and steel with the minions of the evil Death Adder, who has taken over the kingdom. Ported from the acclaimed series of coin-op games.
This is the first of the legendary Sega platform fighters that were the rage of the arcades during their day. While the Golden Axe games can't hold a candle to the Streets of Rage series, there's still enough in here to keep the average gamer content for a long time. Golden Axe is a sideways scrolling beat-em-up set in a traditional fantasy world, in which up to three warriors take up arms to rescue the kidnapped King and his Queen from the evil Death Adder.
The game's three different playable characters are an Amazonian warrior, a Barbarian hero and a Viking dwarf. Each character has a special attack move that is activated by pressing both JUMP and ATTACK at the same time. Also, double-tapping the joystick right or left will make the character charge and smash into opponents.
At certain points during the game, players will come across enemies riding creatures (such as dragons). If the player knocks the original rider from the saddle, the created can be mounted and used against the enemy.
At certain points during a level, as well as on the between-stage intermittent levels, Goblins appear carrying a sack on their back. Players can hit the Goblins causing them to drop food and magic potions - the latter of which are used to create a special magical attack that damages or kills all on-screen enemies.
Each of the game's heroes uses a different kind of magic: the Barbarian uses Earth magic, the Amazon uses fire magic and the Viking dwarf uses lightning magic. In addition: each player character also carries a different weapon: the Amazonian warrior and the Barbarian both use swords while the Viking dwarf wields an axe.
Golden Axe consists of 9 levels, although only 5 of these are true levels as every 2nd stage is a short intermittent level featuring only the sack-carrying Goblins.
Once Golden Axe has been beaten, an end sequence is a scene of a video arcade, in which the game's characters jump out of the arcade cabinet and chase the game's players out of the arcade and down the street.

Golden Axe Warrior is a spin-off of the Golden Axe games, a series of side-scrolling Beat'Em Ups from Sega. In ancient times a horde of giants rebelled against the elders and a brutal war ensued. Things looked grave until finally a hero, carrying the Golden Axe, appeared and drove back the giants. Since then, the kingdom of Firewood has been ruled by a family that had mastered the power of the nine crystals to ward off all evil from Firewood. Everyone lived in peace until one of Firewood's ministers betrayed his king and sold the nine crystals to Death Adder, one of the evil giants. Death Adder has hidden the nine crystals in nine dungeons, has unleashed hordes of monsters and is threatening to take over the world. Will there be another hero who can find the Golden Axe and defeat Death Adder?
Gameplay in Golden Axe Warrior is very similar to The Legend Of Zelda, meaning you will spend most of your time exploring the large overworld fighting against lots of enemies and looking for the dungeons in which the crystals are hidden. Inside the dungeons you have to fight more enemies, find treasures and keys, solve simple puzzles and defeat the dungeon's boss to get one of the crystals. In order to survive against the large number of enemies, you will be able to find many different weapons and three different spells.

Like it's legendary prequel, 1989's "Golden Axe"; 'Revenge' is sideways scrolling beat-em-up set in a traditional fantasy world, in which the evil 'Death Adder' has arisen to take over the lands. The game supports simultaneous four-player gameplay, with each player taking on one of the game's characters. The four available characters are 'Sternblade' (a barbarian warrior), 'Dora' (a female centaurian), 'Goah' (a giant with a dwarf sitting atop his shoulders) and 'Little Trix' (an agile, oriental-style warrior).
As with 'Golden Axe', each character has a special attack move that is activated by pressing both JUMP and ATTACK at the same time. Also, double-tapping the joystick right or left will cause the player to charge and smash into opponents. At certain points during the game, players will come across certain creatures and contraptions (such as dragons, giant scorpions and catapults) which, once the original occupier has been removed from the saddle, can be mounted and ridden/utilized to attack the enemy.
At certain points during a level, as well as at the end of each level, dwarfs appears carrying a sack on their back. Players can hit the dwarfs causing them to drop food and magic potions. During the course of the game, players will also come across numerous trapped prisoners. These can be released by either opening their cages (by pulling a rope or similar) or hacking at their foot manacles.
Unlike the linear level layout of its prequel, 'Revenge' offers the player a branching route through the game, adding to its variety and longevity.
