F-1 Spirit - known in North America as "World Circuit Series" and in Europe as "The Spirit of F-1" - was released for the Game Boy handheld in 1991. It is a top-viewed racing game and the players can compete in Formula 3, Formula 3000 and Formula 1.

F-1 Spirit is the first portable version of Konami's classic MSX top-down racer. It features three classes of open-wheel cars (which dub as difficulty levels), three game modes (practice, single race and championship) and 25 different tracks all around the world, with some of them only playable on the according championship, from the Japanese Formula 3, Japanese Formula 3000 to the Formula One World Championship. On each class, tracks become longer (forcing pit stops), cars faster, and turns change from simple, low angle corners which require no more than a slight trajectory to elbow corners which require some skill to turn without losing speed.

Controls are simple, with the directional button steering the car and the B button used to throttle the car and A to change between high and low gear.

How would you like to be a Ghost Rider? Try your skills at flying with the USAF's 416th Tactical Air Squadron and its now-legendary stealth aircraft that proved its value in Panama and Iraq - the F-117 Night Storm.

An excellent air combat simulator that takes into account the limitations of the Genesis hardware. One of the best in the genre for the Genesis.

The player who plays this game is complete control of a stealth fighter aircraft, which is hardly detectable by enemy base radars. The equipment of the player's fighter plane will be increasing as he continues to play the game. Amazing weapons such as the X-Press missiles for taking down UFOs (which may or may not be terrestrial in origin) are bonus items in the game that will help the player. The levels of this game include Libya, Israel (where players would shoot down Arab forces trying to eliminate Israel), Korea, Russia (during the latter years of the Soviet Union), and other countries that were considered to be potential military hot spots during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

F-15 Strike Eagle is an F-15 Strike Eagle combat flight simulator first released in 1985 by MicroProse and is the first in the F-15 Strike Eagle series.
It was ported to the Game Boy in 1993

The game begins when the player selects Libya (much like Operation El Dorado Canyon), the Persian Gulf, or Vietnam as a mission theater. Play then begins from the cockpit of an F-15 already in flight and armed with a variety of missiles, bombs, drop tanks, flares and chaff. The player flies plane in combat to bomb various targets including a "primary" and "secondary" target while also engaging in air-to-air combat with enemy fighters. The game ends when either the player's plane is destroyed or when the player returns to base.

The seven missions featured in this simulation of F-15 flight are all real-life missions the plane was originally used in. They take in the Middle East and Asia in the 1970s and early 1980s, and have air and ground targets to destroy. You have machine guns, guided missiles and bombs at your disposal. There is an arcade mode and 3 further difficulty levels. The game features 3 enemy aircraft and 3 types of enemy SAMs.

The 8-bit classic roars back to life in a new 16-bit version loaded with the fast action and vivid graphics that were the trademark of the original. Enhancements include all-new 3D solid polygon graphics, a quarter of a million square miles of authentic terrain divided among four battle zones, streamlined flight and weapons control, a new "no crash" option, and true distance scaling. In the words of Computer Shopper (1990), "This may be the best air-combat simulator you've ever flown." Ported from the home computer version.

So much had to be recoded and reduced in order to port this to the Genesis that the end result is pretty much useless. It's kinda hard to have a full-blown flight sim that runs off of a three-button gamepad. No thanks -I'll take the personal computer version, because at least then I can get at all the controls. It's a shame, you know, because this was one cool military fighter sim in its day.

Hop a ride on the U.S. Air Force's choice for its 21st century air superiority fighter - the F-22. Your choice of three different skill levels at which to play.

This looks like somebody unearthed the original version of subLogic's Jet, took some coloring pencils to it, and ported it to the Genesis. The polygonal graphics engine is the worst I've ever seen in this kind of game, and sound is minimal at best. Only useful as a trainer for better flight sims - no, in fact, ANY other flight sim.

Like the futuristic arcade racer on which it is based, F-Zero is a one-player contest, which is a shame considering how the insertion of a two-player mode would've made this fantastic port even better than its coin-op counterpart. Still, with its high speeds, slick graphics (aided by Mode 7 effects), three levels of difficulty, and exorbitant fun factor, this launch title is a must-have title for Super NES owners. Casual fans will enjoy the simple act of racing while hardcore gamers will race for hours on end so they can save (and improve upon) their best times via battery backup. This is a highly faithful port of one of the all-time great racing games.

F-Zero takes place in the year 2560 when humanity's countless encounters with these alien life forms throughout the Universe expanded Earth's social framework to astronomic proportions. Trade, technology and cultural interchange are carried out between planets. The multi-billionaires who earned their enormous wealth through this intergalactic trade were satisfied with their rich lifestyles. However, they also yearned for new entertainment to stimulate their lazy lives, so a new entertainment based on the old F-1 races was founded. People were at first outraged with the brutality of the competition, but eventually demanded more excitement. They soon after called these Grand Prix races simply, "F-ZERO." F-Zero Castle is a BS game that came out in Japane in 1997. The storyline is basically the same, it just tweaks the courses.
