Expanding upon the action sequences of the original while shedding the simulation portion, ActRaiser 2 places you in control of a winged warrior who can glide, dive, swing his sword in any direction, and summon a variety of powerful magical attacks. Magic is now situation-specific and limited to certain actions, such as summoning the fire of a Phoenix to reinforce a diving attack. Graphics have been overhauled, with lush, detailed environments ranging from the depths of an anthill to a swampy forest, while the epic, orchestrated music has remained intact. Unfortunately, the clumsy control boosts the already high difficulty to insane proportions.

ActRaiser combines side-scrolling action with world-building strategy set within a fantasy realm. As a deity called The Master, your task is to overthrow evil forces by reclaiming your land and amassing a population of followers. Action sequences allow you to possess a warrior statue, using its sword and magical attacks to destroy evil in six lands, while the simulation mode consists of clearing out deserts or swamps, constructing cities, and keeping their populations safe. While neither mode is the height of its respective genre, the unique combination and a beautifully orchestrated soundtrack result in an engrossing and enjoyable adventure.

Berutomo Kurabu is a Miscellaneous game, published by I'Max, which was released in Japan in 1998.

Bokujo Monogatari, known in North America as Rod Land is a 1990 arcade game originally developed and published by Jaleco. It was ported to the Game Boy in 1993

The player(s) control one or two fairies called Tam and Rit armed with a magic wand (rod). Following the concept of Taito's Bubble Bobble, the rod doesn't kill the monsters directly, but only leaves them immobilized crying. To kill them, the rod can grasp them in a magic force-field and the player can smash them down over her head until they disappear and leave a power-up behind.

Each level is only one small screen composed of monsters, platforms, ladders and, later, tunnels. Unlike other games of the genre, the players can never jump, but have to use ladders. They can conjure one custom ladder above or below them in order to go to the appropriate platform. There can be only one such 'custom' ladder; therefore if the fairy summons it again, it will disappear from its previous position in order to appear again next to the fairy. This can be beneficial for the player, if a monster is climbing that ladder to approach her.

The fairies' quest is to rescue their mother, trapped in a tower. In the sequel (part of the original arcade machine) they must venture into a pyramid, to stop an evil force that is building a mobile fortress. The spirit of their departed father "guides" them at a couple of points.
