A sequel of sorts to Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers has more enemies and more moves than its progenitor, making it less repetitive and more enjoyable. Rival Turf veterans Hack and Slack make a return engagement, and are aided and abetted by Kazan (a ninja), Wendy (a pro wrestler), and Lord J (a black belt in karate). A special Angry Mode gives injured fighters a burst of energy, giving the game some oomph, and the graphics and music are nice, yet the controls lack the speed, precision, and polish of such games as Streets of Rage, Street Fighter II, and Double Dragon.

The Peace Keepers, released in Japan as Rushing Beat Shura. It is the third game in the Rushing Beat series, following Rival Turf! and Brawl Brothers, although the three games were localized as unrelated titles in North America.

Gameplay:
There are six selectable characters in the game; up to four players can play the main game mode simultaneously if the Super Multitap is connected. The game is a standard beat'em up game in which players face a slew of enemies, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The controls are the standard punch, special attack, taunt, jump and block. There are also super moves. The Peace Keepers has multiple endings with multiple branching paths, each path with its own boss fights and cut scenes. A versus mode is also available, in which two to four players can face each other.

Story:
The manual of the North American release details the localized story. The game takes place in the year 2015, after the "economic wars" of 2011. The Deutchland Moldavia (DM) corporation rules most of the world and its resources, conducting mysterious genetic experiments. Four people affected by DM's research- Flynn, Echo, Al and Prokop -seek revenge on the corporation for its wrongdoings.

Rough up thugs and punks throughout the gang-ridden streets of Los Angeles and Mexico in this beat-'em-up designed in the spirit of Double Dragon and Final Fight. Rival Turf features two playable characters, each offering distinct moves and special attacks: Jack Flak, leader of an American task force, and Oozie Nelson, a Mexican military officer. Make your way across six locales, from a police precinct to a stadium, to make the world safe from evil mastermind Big Al and his cronies. Collect weapons such as knives, wrenches, grenades, and baseball bats by bashing oil drums, crates, and trashcans. Rival Turf, known as Rushing Beat in Japan, features 12 enemy types, six boss characters, and two-player simultaneous support.
