An evil lawyer has thrown the Addams Family out of their home and is planning to take their fortune. However, the family (except for the depressed Gomez) returns to the home to reason with the lawyer. When Gomez snaps out of his funk and finally arrives, his family is missing. You take control of the Addams? patriarch as he searches the house for his family and tries to save their fortune. He will have to run and jump through levels filled with enemies that will do whatever it takes to see that Gomez doesn?t find his family. But thanks to his trusty bow and some arrows, disposing of any interference is a breeze. There are also several power-ups available that will help Gomez, including extra health and free lives. It?s up to you to help Gomez save his family and their home in THE ADDAMS FAMILY.
Enjoyable platform adventure where some things are perhaps too hard to find. Quite a challenge for puzzle freaks, not for action types.

The personality of the television series and 1991 feature film carry over to the SNES version of The Addams Family, which is filled with humorous touches and a nice rendition of the familiar theme song. You take control of Gomez as you search the house for your missing loved ones, Morticia, Lurch, Granny, Pugsley and Wednesday. Making your way through the Addams' house isn't exactly easy, though, as you'll have to deal with all types of supernatural entities and solve various puzzles.

The game followed the Addams Family father and husband, Gomez Addams, as he attempts to save the user of his family who have been kidnapped. They have been stowed away in various locations in the mansion and are protected by a boss of some sort. The manservant Lurch and the severed hand Thing are the only characters not to be kidnapped. Thing will provide hints on gameplay whenever Gomez finds one of his red boxes marked with an 'A' for 'Addams'. Gomez starts outside the front door of the mansion. Inside the house, Gomez can move from level to level in basically any order. The player will soon discover that the mansion is full of secrets, hidden passageways and side levels and bosses (for the purpose of increasing Gomez's health). Gomez dispatches enemies by simply jumping on their heads (similar to the Super Mario games). He can also find objects to throw at them, such as golf balls. The game did not have a save system but, instead, bore a password system. Through progression of the game, the player would receive passwords, enabling him or her to start where they left off.

Platform game inspired by the popular live-action movies starring Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, and Cristopher Lloyd - derived from the long-running comic strip created by Charles Addams for the New Yorker magazine.
I'll keep it short and sweet - the good movie got the bad arcade game, a poor platformer in which Gomez must search the Addams estate for the lost family fortune.

The Addams Family is a platform game based on the characters and settings from the movie (which, in turn, is based on the famous 1960's television series).
The game takes place towards the end of the movie: the Addams Family has been evicted from their home by a court order issued by a backstabbing attorney (there's one for the books), Tully Alford. Even worse, the other Addamses: Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Granny and Lurch have gone missing.
As Gomez, you must tour the Addams mansion in search of your lost family, battling out mysterious monsters and evading traps, and eventually face your nemesis, Tully.

Baby Pubert, the most recent addition to the Addams Family, has been abducted by Debbie Jellinski, his former nanny. As Uncle Fester it is your job to rescue little Pubert. You must search the surrounding areas (forests, swamps, gardens and the like) of Addams mansion, while avoiding traps, solving puzzles and killing monsters. You'll face such hellish creatures as vultures, gargoyles, bats, ghosts and ghouls.
During your mission, you'll run into Gomez, Morticia, Lurch and other user of the Addams Family, who are on the grounds to lend advice and provide items. These items include a box of seeds for producing enemy-attacking mini bushes, black beetle cookies which give Fester a dose of ill-health (this is a good thing), stone marbles for turning attackers into rock, a bowling ball for hitting enemies and breaking through walls and a battery, which powers up Fester's standard Zzap attack. Within the seven levels of play, there are tons of other creatures to zap and items to find.
Addams Family Values is based on the 1993 film of the same name, starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester.

Pugsley is sent on a scavenger hunt by his sister Wednesday in this side scrolling platformer. You'll have to explore the mansion and avoid the odd things you'll find if you hope to win.
A major source of criticism for the SNES version was the lack of a password feature, despite the game being very difficult. A password feature is present on both the NES and Game Boy versions.

It is very similar to the original Addams Family SNES title. A major source of criticism for the SNES version was the lack of a password feature. A password feature is present on both the NES and Game Boy versions.

Uncle Fester was out one night moonbathing in the yard of the Addams Family property one day when suddenly, out from the sky a UFO descended and started beaming alien creatures to the planet. Grabbing his gun, Fester sets off to stop the aliens and slay their boss creatures, encountering other Addams Family user along the way who will aid him.
Fester's Quest is an overhead-view game in which Uncle Fester uses his gun, or later, a Whip to attack enemies near him. Enemies drop money and power-ups. The money can be used mostly at Hot Dog stands to replenish health. A variety of items can be collected, each with a different effect. Fester and the rest of the Addams family are based off of their characters from the popular 1960s TV show (this game was made before the remakes in both series and movie form).
