Action Fighter is an overhead vehicular combat game released by Sega in 1986.

It mimics the style of other games such as Spy Hunter and Traverse USA. The player begins the game riding a superbike. In subsequent levels a sports car, jetski, helicopter and Formula One racing car can all be driven, as seen in the game's title screen. All of the vehicles are fully armed to deal with enemy vehicles and gun emplacements intent on stopping the player's progress. The helicopter levels play as a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up and resembles Xevious.

Take the motorcycle from Hang On, equip it with hi-tech weaponry and give it the ability to transform itself into an aircraft or car - and you've got ACTION FIGHTER!

The Atari 2600 version of Battlezone is a tank simulator that uses colored raster graphics, as opposed to vector graphics of the arcade version. The player earns points by destroying enemy tanks, supertanks, UFO's, and guided missiles. A version of Battlezone was designed for use by the US Army to be used as a training device for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, however only two were thought to exist, one was lost, the other is held in a private collection after the current owner found the game in a dumpster.

These individuals are called Combatants, and they've trained hard and fought thousands of test duels to earn the right to be the champions for their nations. The screen is an overhead view of a city street, with the cops on one side, and the robbers on the other. Each car is in it's own lane, and an extra wide lane marks the area between the cop and robber side. Each player can move up and down in their own lane, the object is to shoot down the cars of the opposite side. A beer truck moves randomly up and down the center lane, generally getting in the way.

Cosmo Tank is a video game developed by Asuka Technologies and published by Atlus. It was released in 1990 for the Game Boy; with most of the gameplay programmed as a 2D shooter with some levels resembling that of a 3D shooter video game.

The player controls an armoured fighting vehicle from either a first-person perspective or a third-person perspective; depending on the level design. All games begin on a planet's surface with an overhead view. When the player enters a tunnel, the view switches to first-person. After destroying the Life Core inside a tunnel, the player travels to a new planet through a vertically scrolling stage.

Cosmo Tank has three modes. In quest mode, the object of the game is to destroy Alien Life Cores on five planets to free them from Master Insect. Players can earn experience levels in the quest mode by defeating enemies. The maximum amount of experience points that a player can earn is 999; which allows players to reach the level cap of 6. In training mode, the player practices in a closed area and is given a ranking. In vs. mode, the Game Link Cable is used to allow two players to race to defeat the alien leader.

The player is a tank trying to rescue hostages on worlds with lots of craters (that the player can descend into). Rescuing all hostages, while avoiding (or destroying) other tanks and UFOs advances the player to the next level.

Based on the movie of the same name, something strange is going on in New York City and the Ghostbusters are back and armed with "benevolent slime" to find out what it is. The ghostbusters quest, like in the movie, takes them to an underground river of slime, ghostly hauntings in the courthouse, an abandoned subway line. These action sequences are interspersed with driving sequences with the Ghostbusters car, Ecto-1A Finally, the Ghostbusters must bring the Statue of Liberty to life through the New York Harbor and then navigate it through the city streets. This leads to a final confrontation with a painting come-to-life, Virgo the Carpathian in which all 4 ghostbuster user must fight their way into the museum.

In the action sequences you control a single ghostbuster who can fire his slime weapon and jump. In driving sequences you move the Ecto-1A around the screen and your controls are also a slime gun and jumping. Additionally you must find speed arrows on the ground to jump over huge chasms. Finally, while controlling the Statue of Liberty you may fire her torch straight up into the air (find a power-up torch to shoot diagonally) or let loose the tablet that she carries to destroy all enemies on the screen.

Find 20 "Ghostbusters 2" symbols in any of these levels to obtain an extra life.

The player pilots a Patrol Boat Riverine (PBR) in this river combat simulator. As the player completes each mission, the player is promoted and earns medals. The game starts out in Vietnam and when the player earns a second lieutenant's bar, the game moves on to battle the drug kingpins of Columbia. In the game, the player takes control over the Knight Industries Two Thousand, better known as KITT, a high-tech, fully computerised car. Together with Michael Knight, you have to fight crime in 10 missions and 15 races.

Many original userideas from the TV series have been included in the game. KITT, Michael, Bonnie and Devon are all in the game, as are the evil Garth and KARR. The player can also use various original functions of the car, like Turbo Boost, Super Pursuit Mode, Ski Mode or the famous Scanner, whose sound everyone should recognise.

The game can only be played in campaign mode, where KITT and Michael have to solve a mysterious case, starting out as a simple bank robbery.

Metal Stoker is a top-down view, multi directional scrolling shooter. You pilot the CS-05 custom Metal Stoker and the game counts seven stages (Compute Polis, Gio front, Torrid City, Desert base, Hell Laboratory, Cyber Base and the Floating Fortress). Your ship can move in any directions but if needed, an option allows you to fire in one direction while you move in another. Tanks and other enemy forces are scattered around each level, an arrow constantly pointing the way out, or at least the way to the boss. Pods can be collected along the way: new weapons ( They can be selected by pressing start ) from Vulcan gun to laser beam, homing missiles, surrounding force-field and Mines. Other items can also be picked up and give you extra lives or increase your fire power.
