In short form, you are in either modern day, futuristic, or post apocalyptic Japan, something happens, demons overrun it, mysterious protagonist is given a demon summoning program, and the protagonist sets out to save the world. They all have a nice, cyberpunk feel to them, in terms of using a computer program to summon demons.
Majin Tensei is about some form of evil invading a futuristic Japan with demons. Gameplay wise, it is almost exactly like the early Fire Emblem games.
Majin Tensei II: The Spiral Nemesis is about the spiral nemesis invading a futuristic Japan by using demons. Gameplay wise it is somewhat similar to Tactics Ogre.
Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei is an enhanced remake of Megami Tensei I and Megami Tensei II, both games basically involved demons invading Japan, due to the fact that the protagonist comes across some demon summoning program and summons Loki. First person dungeon crawling.
Shin Megami Tensei if... is sort of a side-story to Shin Megami Tensei I and II, it is a "what if?" type scenario detailing what would have happened if Tokyo had not been destroyed at the end of Shin Megami Tensei. The protagonist is in high-school and the school is warped into the realm of demons. As it turns out, there are five different worlds, and the goal is to get the high-school back to the human world. This is the game from which the Persona side series drew inspiration. First person dungeon crawling.

There's an issue with Gold/Silver/Crystal though. Each time you run the emulator it resets the internal game clock.

I promise that Aladdin and Disney's Aladdin are different games. Disney's Aladdin is the official NTSC release if you're interested. Aladdin is just a pirate.

Aladdin 3 actually goes by another name as well, I forget what though.

I doubt it, that's an emulation/rom issue.

Sorry, sound can not be fixed in those two games.

In Fire Barrel you can mute it by pressing the tilde key (should be under the escape key and look like this ~`) and then hold left to turn down volume then press escape.

There are 2 nes games i would really like to see reaplaced if it's possible.

1st. Karnov
This is a cheap version of karnov, which was translated to english by taking out everything that was in japanese, which includes intro, cutscenes (i think) and ending.
I found the original game's translated version, and i don't see any reason why it shouldn't be replaced...

I have also found out that Captain Tsubasa is the Famicom version of Tecmo World Cup Soccer, which makes it kinda pointless to have it on the site...
I think the game names should really have tags with other known titles...

Sorry. Mac and Linux support are still YEARS away. There are several games here that work in Java and Flash. Those will work on Mac and Linux. ArcadeOX will not.

There was only about 50 games and nearly every single one either sucked or was available on SNES or Genesis and the 16bit port was usually equal to the Jaguar version. Wolfenstien and a few CD games are probably about the only exception.
