Thankfully it's very unlikely that Trump will get anywhere close to the white house but I thought it might be fun to predict what might happen if he did win. You can make silly guesses if you want but I'm more interested in what people think might happen if he was given so much power.
My predictions-
1. His name somewhere on the exterior of the building. I doubt he'd be allowed to make anything like his towers but maybe a banner or something. He's just tacky enough for that kind of thing I think.
2. Lots of embarrassing incidents that he doesn't see as a problem. He's notorious for being an outspoken douchebag and he always acts like what he says is what everyone is thinking. If they had a picture of arrogance in the dictionary he'd buy the company that makes them and put his picture on every page.
3. Warmongering gone mad. My main fear about his presidency is that he'll stay true to his character and push us into chaos. He holds grudges like a middle school girl and has shown that he has very little empathy. That's one of the worst presidential combos I can think of. Combine that with his lust for money and power and we're all screwed.
4. He'll divide the country like never before. He is all about "us vs them". Really he's about "me vs everyone who isn't me" but he needs support so he'll pander to conservatives.
5. We'll have to see a presidential portrait with that ugly mug and bad rug.
Trump is definitely not one i'd vote for. he's too much of a bad thing. My predictions:
1. He'll try to find a way to jack the taxes even higher so he can get rich faster. Total rich boy move right there
2. He'll try to split off minimum wage. Recently he supported the idea of two minimum wages, one for high school kids and one for those with family. One of which will be incredibly low
3. He won't even bother with the key issues like ISIS. Instead he'll be focusing too much on Mexico to worry about it.
Yeah it seems like the formerly disenfranchised sexist, bigoted douche bags have found their champion.Thankfully they're out numbered by people who don't appreciate bullies.
Saw a bonkers theory the other day how Trump's campaign is a farce to ensure Hillary's victory. Something about Trump and the Clintons being in heavy support of one another.
It's funny you bring that up because I actually believe it's very likely. Trump seems to be making a circus of this whole thing and intentionally sabotaging his chances. Attaching himself to the GOP is certainly hurting their credibility.
I think Trump fits modern America like a glove, being the over- privileged, war - mongering big - business asshole he is, but Hitlery Clinton will be your next President.
I definitely don't want Jeb to win. Political dynasties are bad, and the Bush family has screwed up the country from the White House enough.
Hillary can keep on being an oligarch shill. She was a mediocre Senator, a mediocre Head of State, and she'll be a mediocre President. She doesn't know her own message and prefers to make stuff up or lie. If she was 'open' she would have turned over her email server long long ago.
Sanders has my vote but he's probably too openly socialist to be electable in this country. It sucks also that the DNC wants to back the wrong horse Hillary.
Democrats prove themselves unable to organize yet again.
It's far out but I could definitely see a Trump nomination and win. He stared down the other GOP and a hostile Fox News and came out on top. Republicans are much better at uniting behind the party candidate. Democrats are losers and would rather stay home and not vote as protest for not getting the 'perfect' candidate they wanted.
So we could very well see "CAN'T STUMP THE TRUMP" come to fruition.
The presidential candidates so far look atrocious. Sanders sounds like a good dude, but he's too far left. You know the race is bad if I'm seriously going over the credentials of Jim Webb and John Kasich(which are right now my favored candidates, no less). Argh.

I just cannot see any scenario where Trump wins. He has a lot of support at the moment but how much of that is support from people who just wanna see more of the freakshow? How many of those will actually want him in control of the country? Besides that Trump is never gonna win over the majority of liberals and he's already made lots of enemies from simple sound bites that any amateur politician could handle easily. That comment that implied Megan Kelley was on the rag when she monitored the debate destroyed his chances with the vast majority of women. There's lots of women in the country and they tend to vote more than men last I heard. Big time fail.
It's not fair but we also have to consider his appearance. Lots of people are influenced by how a candidate looks and Trump is not gonna win any of them over either. He can wear baseball caps with Regan slogans for the rest of the campaign but no one is gonna forget his ridiculous hair. On top of that he has the skin tone of a carrot and he's not handsome. If the democrats surprise us with a young, handsome candidate Trump might as well just call it a day. To be fair Chris Christie falls into this category too. People like him for being tough and outspoken but he's unelectable because he's obese and not handsome. It's shallow but it's true.
This is the first election I can vote for and I don't like any of the candidates. Probably won't vote.
My degree is in Political Science, and I've got to say I'm glad SOMEONE has taken your attitude. This election will be the first time my daughter will be able to vote, and she's just all "it's my first election, I've GOT to vote for somebody, it's my DUTY.". Um. . . no. If everyone sucks, you just don't vote If it's Stalin vs. Hitler, how bout just staying home? I was a politics junkie most of my life, but I'm so disgusted with the 2-party system of crappy candidates, I don't even care very much anymore. Everyone's got baggage, everyone lies their ass off to get elected, and no one delivers on 10 percent of what they "promise" (if you're dumb enough to believe ANYTHING during campaign season.). We need an outsider, we need someone who isn't bought and sold. That'd would be someone like Trump, but he's just too nuts, and I'm still convinced he has NO desire whatsoever to be president (and I work for the Executive Branch). I still think this is just part of his plan to make more $$, get more publicity, get in the spotlight, and be able to run his mouth. I like the brute honesty, but he's got just too much of a touch of crazy for me. As for Hillary - trust and credibility issues going back to the 90s is being generous. I'm convinced she'd sell her soul for the presidency. Hopefully someone in the middle of the pack will come forward and grab this election by the balls. If it's Bush v. Clinton again, just shoot me.

If I had to vote between two turds, I might as well not even waste my time. Hopefully next election has better candidates

No idea why anybody in their right mind would vote for that crook Hillary. God I hope she gets disqualified or something because of that email stuff. Willing to bet half those votes are just votes because she's a woman.
She doesn't know Trump will send that kid to die in some stupid war overseas, along with millions of other peoples' kids.
'NO ONE will be tougher on terrorism than Donald Trump, NO ONE!'
- Trump
Oh ya, tough guy? LEAD THE CHARGE!
Grab your boots and your rifle, and SHOW us how tough on terrorism you are!
Just because this 'election' is happening in the US means nothing; this next presidency as with many before it will set the stage for global politics and the nature thereof for all of us on this planet.
Occupy Peace is unlike any other peace initiative.
Formally launching at a rally at noon on September 20, 2015, at the corners of John and Crown Street in historic Kingston, NY, this peace movement is designed to create a platform to hold elected officials accountable for senselessly prompting war.
It will drive a nationwide initiative to put peace on the ballot.
How will this get done?
The institute will work with inspiring and peace-minded historians and other experts to create a program that provides the tools to make peace a driving force in the halls of government and in the living rooms of Americans.
Most notably, the movement will promote these tenants:
» No foreign entanglements.
» Wage war only when imminent threat exists.
» Zero tolerance for illegal wars based on lies and retreaded failed reasoning.
» Build communities here, not foreign nations elsewhere.
» Let the people vote on whether to fund wars.
This is the best thing I've heard of in a very long time, politically speaking.
