2010 Predictions

What are your 2010 predictions?

I predict:

1. RU Donation goal will be reached shortly.
2. People of the World will begin to finally come together in peace, starting this year.
3. I will get 4 more high scores, 27 PM's, and will clear 900 posts by 2011.

Well, before 2010 can come to pass I must reflect on 2009.

As for 2010, I'm not sure exactly what my predictions are, but I have a few goals in mind.

Beat at least 20 games on each system we have (although I'm not sure how I can do that on Atari and Coleco games)
Try to be a little more vocal here on RU. I've been pretty, for lack of a better term, "mute" here lately. Not sure if it's old age or that most of the topics lately have seemed dry and boring in my opinion. Those may be inter-twined

As for predictions, I predict that Kong will break the Commodore Amiga code, and 1,000+ Amiga games will show up on RU in 2010. This will lead to more than 2,000 new members joining because of the hallowed computer (they are out there even as we speak waiting for a place of their own), and more than $1,500.00 in donations inspired by Amiga fans coming to RU on their pilgrimage to AmigaMecca. I predict that more than 50% of this Amiga donation money will be put in by my brother and myself.

Also, in 2010, politics will once again see a shift, as the Elephants gain more seats in Congress and the Senate. The Elephants will promise to bring America back to the people (just like the Asses did). In spite of this, neither side will actually come through on any promises, and things will remain corrupt with power mongers in control. The leaders of both parties will still vacation together in Hawaii despite their alleged hatred for one another. The people will lose again, and the economy will not gain much ground.

On the war front, more skirmishes will be fought all throughout the middle east, and things will heat up in parts of Europe. The TSA will talk about tightening up security, but they will still continue to primarily keep their searches geared towards 2-year-old babies.

On the star front, there will be a few new divas and a few new celebrity meltdowns. Look for Lindsay Lohan to stay on her current pace and age 20 years this year. Brittany Spears will meanwhile continue to regain her humanity. Meanwhile, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr. will continue to be the talk of the entertainment world, and Iron Man 2 will rock the Earth.

In gaming news, Tiger Woods new game will quickly be retitled to Phil Mikelson 2010 when it is released on the Wii. On the 360 version there will be DLC called, Tiger's Hole in One. This will be a bonue putting game, but all the greens will be recolored to blonde, and brunette.

Rumors will circulate that Sega is going to get back into the console business, but it will prove to be untrue again. Also, the foolish donkeys at Sega will still not announce development on a new Eternal Champions game for next gen consoles, but will instead insist that fans really want Virtua Fighter 16 even though no one has bought any copies of the last 14 games.

The Wii will continue to sell units for the first 6 months of the year, but will see a decline in the back half. Xbox 360 will continue to steadily take more and more of the market share, and PS3 will continue to survive as Blu Ray takes more hold of the home video market. Also, God of War 3 will sell 800,000 copies in its first month of release.

Very true, and based on fulfilling certain tasks, you can unlock less costumes, and new caddies. 14-15 caddies. A different one in each city you go to.

1. Finish the E.T. Shrine (likely)
2. Blog an Intellivision mod (possible)
3. Hit 200 NES games (doubtful)

1. Get High scores I have been eyeing. I got Super Puzzle Fighters, maybe now onto X-men.
2. Finally get Social Misfits on CT. 5 MORE.

Tails has no time into rebuilding a team. I could care less about winning, it's more of a headache having to push the weight myself that got boring. I chose EC because I talk to a lot of those people a lot, and they are more active. I also considered GOM because of Tenser, Sabby, Doodbro, but they are full I think. So ya, again I could care less about winning.

Reviews don't usually get many replys, at least not right away. Hopefully camerons review awards thing will boost interest.

I don't care about reviews much, I'm just trying to stay positive since it's good for the site.
Like I said it's still a slow time for forums. Give it a week or two and people will settle back in and activity should pick back up, hopefully.

From when I made that prediction, you had davidman and oasis on your team, where are they now? Davidman left because he didn't want to deal with all the diva attitudes on your team. Oasis just left (due to life, so I don't hold that against the Mega Men) You're roster has changed from 2008 almost as much as VB and EC, thing is, they didn't have rosters in 2008. Trust me, I didn't want to be right on that one, it would have made kicking your butt that much better.
