Very nice interview.

I've had the pleasure to meet both Elijah and father Ken and not only are they great gamers but very cool people to hang out with.

Good luck to Elijah on his newest marathon adventure. I'm not sure what time today he was going to get started but I'll check in later today to see how things are going.

i had to bounce...when he started at 2 i logged on, he struggled for the first 40 boards, never getting above 6 or 7 lives, i left and he was up to 100+ when i came back right around the time jojo showed up and he started to struggle again.

from watching the video, he is having a lot of trouble with the responsivness of the machine

Was this the first game where it was possible to get a billion points?

There are only 3 games here that have scores over a billion.

Arcade - I think so. Don't know when Garfield for the 2600 was released, but it got a mention when I was researching the topic as another billion game.

Are you sure Garfield was ever released? It seems I read somewhere at TG once that it wasn't but I could certainly be wrong.

Gamefaq's shows the release date as cancelled.

After 99 you get a combination of the above. You saw him at 18 which is 118 and 65 which is 119. Beware though get more than 129 lives (A5) and the cpu thinks you have -128 and you get game over! that would hurt! The problem is there are three x A5!! You have to keep check on what came before them!

26 hours on the mark and he hit 700,000,000. was down to about 85 lives, his controller went on the fritz and they have to replace it
