So, what is the worst game that you've ever played?

I would have to go with nearly every PSP game that isn't Monster Hunter Freedom.

Well the worst game I ever played was this game for the Game Cube called Universal Studios Tours or something like that. The game moved to slow and the games weren't fun. The only thing I liked about the game really was Woody Woodpecker but that's because I watch a lot of cartoons. Well thats the worst game ever that I can think of...Well there is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the NES which was extremely bad. The weapons didn't do anything. The game was really hard, not that I hate hard games on the contrary I love hard games but this you just can't beat it. Now that I think about I think that Dr Jekyll is the worst game ever because at least the Universal Studios game had some redeaming qualities.

I play mostly RPG and strategy type games so my worst is limited. Now I am sure someone out there liked this game but I was really let down, it was boring and just seemed like a chore. Not to mention the story was so poor I didn't care about any of the characters or what happens to them.

Non Rpg worst game would have to be Superman for N64. I think I remember a review at the time said the best part of the game was the cover art on the box.

I've played Universal Studios tour...it's as bad as you describe...

As for me, I'm not sure if it was the worst game, but the most dissappointing was when I was much younger, I had asked for Crystalis for my birthday, I got Crystal Mines instead. I may have been looking at it through a pair of spoiled brat eyes, but it was absolutely horrible...I played it twice and cried myself to sleep....

I was hugely disapointed with Flashback. It was touted as the next "Out of This World". I played for about an hour then threw it away.

So when you say "threw it away" do you mean that you put it aside and never played it again or literarly throw it away?

I was being overly dramatic. I used to rent games, play them all weekend, beat them, then return them on Monday. With this one I was super excited to play it but just played it for an hour then returned it, disapointed, to the rental store.

It might have been good, I don't know, but it is nothing compared to OoTW.

The recollection is foggy, but I don't remember it having any redeeming features...I probably just took it out, threw it over my shoulder and put SMB2 back in.

I wrote that 3 years ago. Last year I finally got around to fully playing Flashback (and beating it) and now I like it. It just takes a little longer to get into than OoTW. The controls are a little awkward and hard to learn. Once you get past that it is great.

Zool for the sega Master System. At least Action 52 had a comedic element. Zool was so bland, it felt like my lifespan was getting shorter the more i played it.

I would have likely had more fun having acid poured on my fingers and watching them erode. At least it would have looked kind of decent.

The worst game I've ever played: Enter the Matrix.

This game is so bland, so broken, so terrible, so buggy in so many horrible ways that if you replaced it with a glitchy NES cartridge that displayed the blinking screen when you started it up you'd have more fun trying to make it work rather than play this game.

I got it for free, and I still rue the day that game fell into my hands.

I still can't believe that Tails can play it all the way through = and still like it, too.
I wouldn't call it a 'bad' game; LJN has the corner on the really bad game market it seems {according to AVGN reviews}, Cheetahmen is more of a really difficult game, in my opinion.

So what's the worst game I ever played?
To use the measure of whether or not I took it back to the store, I would have to say it's Hydlide » Nintendo.
{I told them it wouldn't work - which is partially true - I couldn't work it, so it didn't work, right? = at any rate I think I got StarTropics » Nintendo instead, which I thought was much more fun}

Ugh, Hydlide, the most difficult romp through the forest full of everything that wants to kill you. I too spent many days on that game only to give up in disgust many times.
