Hmmm.
Eternal Darkness #6
Perfect Dark #5
Duke Nukem #4
All on a list of top games to be remade; funny how it is when I mention
Perfect Dark {#5}, and almost always when I mention
Duke Nukem {#4}:

Goldeneye was better than
Perfect Dark ...
Duke Nukem is all about the game's premise, and without his personality it's a pretty unremarkable game ...
These are not direct quotes but I couldn't help but remember things of this nature being said by certain members.
I guess this goes to show that the hype surrounding certain games doesn't mean that the games themselves are better than other ones on the same console.
It's all a matter of personal taste in the end, but sometimes it doesn't pay to be slavish to the hype because you may choose a lesser game just because everyone else bought it and thought it was good??
Eternal Darkness is one of the best games on the Gamecube, and look what the article said about
its sales -- not too good.
My point is that just because a game is a 'best seller' doesn't mean that it's a good game, and sometimes games that fall through marketing cracks and have poorly timed launch dates can be awesome, but sadly mostly unknown.
