The ranking, not including overseas (i.e. Eidos) titles or Square Enix’s line of DS travel guides, which otherwise would somehow manage to rank 6th:

1. Dragon Quest – 30.3%

2. Final Fantasy – 20.4%

3. SaGa – 6.7%

4. Seiken Densetsu (Mana) – 5.7%

5. Chrono Series – 4%

6. Itadaki Street – 3.4%

7. Kingdom Hearts – 2.9%

8. Front Mission – 2.8%

9. Valkyrie Profile – 2.7%

10. Full Metal Alchemist – 2.7%

O_o This part is actually still Enix, but part three is Square-Enix. This game is soo freakin awsome it's way up there with FFVI, Chrono Trigger and Legend of Mana! You can even build weapons, armor and items from raw materials. Depending on how well developed your characters abilities are, examples are: blacksmith, chef, carpenter, gardener, ect., you get a range of quality items from soo crappy the raw material was better than what you made, to this is the most powerful thing you can make in the game.

Well Star Ocean's been around since SNES. I looked Runescape up on wiki and see it's from 01'. That being said, SO looks a lot better and more fluid that Runescape. We got the SNES version here in RU if you'd like to have a go at it.
