Gamers love a good challenge. Unless it involves an underwater level. Or a mine cart. Or pretty much anything from Mega Man 9. Come to think of it, gamers are frustrated by a lot of things. Here’s a tribute to the levels that made us collectively break our controllers.

I still have a heck of a time landing that stupid plane in Top Gun.

I hated Rainbow Road in all of its annoying glory. Especially on Double Dash.

Rainbow Road may be a challenge, but it isn't to much to overcome.

I agree. I think it's a piece of crap and there's nothing cool about it. It should be an optional bonus level or something.

I found it to be pretty nice, the neon lights of every character was kind of neat too.
