I like the part about the connection to the victims. It reminded me of the fight with The Sorrow in MGS3.
You see every person and animal you've killed. Slit that guy's throat? There he is walking by, blood gushing out his neck. Destroyed their supply depot? There they are walking by holding their stomachs complaining of hunger. I almost felt remorse for all of the kills.
