As some of you know I am a big Bears fan. And I'm happy to report that we're going to The Show! I wanted to start up some stuff people might have an interest in and start some good conversation.

I predict the NFC isn't ready yet. Lets face it, the AFC has won seven out of the last nine Big Dances.

Don't get me wrong, the NFC has talent, its just the AFC has so much more of it. The game tends to go back and forth like this. For a good stretch the NFC was the dominating conference, right now its the AFC. I just don't think there's an NFC team out there that could beat three quarters of the AFC teams. Maybe XLI will be a fluke, but if the Bears win, its just that, a fluke like the Buccs and Rams were.

I agree with Tenser on the Bucs and Rams part, but to see witch conference has the most talent... Well let the Pro Bowl decide that.

The Pro Bowl is a joke not even worth hosting.

1) Not everyone who is invited actually goes.
2) There's no competition to it, its just for fun.
3) They're not well oiled teams, just a bunch of posers mashed together.

WHAT?! The Rams a fluke? In 99 they had the greatest team in football. I mean come on! Marshall Faulk, Warner, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Az Hakim. Such an explosive offense. On D they had Adam Archuletta, London Fletcher, Grant Wistrom at DE, Aeneus Williams!

What a great team.

That aside, the Colts will win, Grossman is inconsistent, and the only reason New Orleans didn't win is because of the snow.

Edit: I wanted New Orleans to win the Super Bowl, so I am going to hate the Bears for at least 2 seasons.

No joke. The Pro bowl is no way to decide anyway. No one is allowed to but a big hit on someone. And for a good reason, those guys are walking bags of money! You don't want to risk your assets on a stupid game like that. AFC wins usually because they have the better offensive of the two...

It would have made a good story. But football is football. Maybe they should have practiced outside once out of the week!

1. The Bears had 2 advandages 1a. they were playing a dome team in cold weather and 1b. the last dome team to win on the road in the NFC Championchip game was the 98' Falcons, but the Falcons were faceing another dome team, the Vikings 2. Now that i think of it Tenser, you could not say that the Steelers were a fluke last season

I don't like the Colts or either of the Mannings. Couldn't stand their father either. I would like nothing more than to see a Manning never earn a ring. I wasn't happy about the idea of Brady getting another either...

Also note I am not a Saints fan, but before week 1 I said they would win the Super Bowl and everyone thought I was nuts. I can't tell you how much money I would have won since I placed some ridiculous bets before the season started.

Right on man. He deserves that ring more then any other QB out there. And that's why it's a win-win for me. Bear's lose and it sucks but Manning gets a ring, or the Bears win and lift there 21 year old shadow. And a black coach will win, so everyone's happy!

They were explosive for an NFC team, yes. But lets face it, you won on a last minute, 73 yard pass against the Titans. The Rams didn't win, the Titans lost. Count your blessings that Jacksonville didn't go that year. What has Faulk, Warner and crew done after that game? Not much.

So if a team wins a Superbowl and then gets back within the next two years they aren't a fluke? Because my 99 Rams (2000 bowl) were back in it two years later.

I call no fluke.

Archie's an ass to everyone. Eli only made it because of his big brother. Peyton was a jackass to my little nephew that use to be a big Colts fan.
