How long a sentence.

Okay, so a guy in his sixties, with a few violent crimes under his belt including armed robbery with a hostage with the gun at his head telling the clerk "this guys life is in your hands" and breaking into an elderly couples house while they are asleep armed with a machete goes right into their room for some reason, and utter more threats.
So anyway, this guy just recently kidnapped a woman and kept her locked up in his basement for three weeks, she escaped and flagged down a driver in a tshirt and panties, she woulda been mid fifties I think.
So how long a sentence do you guys think that warrants?

I was thinking 10 years at an absolute minimum, I was stunned to find out he only got 4 and a half years.

Four and a half years is way too short for how dangerous he is. I guess you have to really hurt someone before they take notice.
