Robbed :(

Yep, first time ever my Walgreens was ever robbed, it was there since 1992. I just put my cart away.. and this black guy came in with a gun, at first I thought it was a joke, saw his face. Said give me the money so I did. Bleh, I'm still shaking.. Why does this have to happen to me? This week is just going straight down the pooper. =/

Police are investigating a robbery early Tuesday at Walgreens, according to emergency communication reports.

A man walked into the pharmacy just before 4:30 a.m. and demanded cash, reports state.
At least one witness told authorities he thought the suspect was armed with a gun. <- HE WAS.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect’s description was not available.

Thing is it wasn't the Pharmacy.

I'm really sorry to hear that Tails. I'm glad that you (and no one) was hurt. Take care of yourself first. That's the most important thing. Do what you need to do about the contest and other things.

i thought you were a teenage girl, what were you doing working at 430 in the am.

same thing happened to me when i was a kid, working at subway. the dude wanted money and a bag of macadamia nut cookies.

It would've made a better news story if you'd grabbed the gun away from the robber and pistol whipped him. You could've been hero, Tails!

On the other side of things, a friend of mine tried to rob a gas station the other day and failed miserably. It's on youtube and it is hilarious.

It only took 2-3 hours to get over it, apparently I did everything right that my store manager was impressed.

:P I'm a 20 year old male who works from 10pm-8am for 7 days in a row and off 7 days.

lmao! Cookies? Oh yeah he only took 363 dollars. Default register for Walgreens is $200.
