Olympic opening ceremony comparison.

I only remember Beijing and Vancouver, but I was wondering if any of you have seen another one? If so, please compare it to others you have seen.

Personally, I think that Vancouver was so much better than Beijing.

I disagree, I think the Beijing was amazing and much more effort(and money) went into it. Vancouver had a good one too but I just don't think it held up to Beijing.

Well seeing as the stock market took a nose dive just before they could organize the ceremony, I think it was a pretty good one, under such a limited budget.
Beijing just seemed better because there were so many people.

I think Beijing was better, of course they had more money and more people, not to mention the knowledge that the Summer games have more viewers than the Winter games.

It's hard to even compare these really. Vancouver did good besides some technical difficulty. Beijing was just epic though. It'll be hard to surpass the level of effort they put into it.

I just noticed that the announcers stopped talking for about 2mins when the drummers really started going at it. I bet they were in awe too, they usually always banter in the background.
