Free Internet channel

I just got an E-mail from Nintendo on my wii.

Apparently, the internet channel is now free, It says also that if you've already spent 500 points you will be refunded a Nes game after october

so, any reccomendations on Nes games?

I have Punchout, City Connection, River CR, Double Dragon & Zeldas I & II.

Edit: flash has also been updated to Flash 8.

yeah, use those points for an n64 game, cause it is kind of silly to pay for something that you can get for free on good ole ru

@ jim, N64 Games are 1000 points, the e-mail said specifically a nes game.

@Steven, you only get the free Nes game if you've already payed for the internet channel.

What? it says Flash 3.1, equivilent to 8 or something, what's the issue?

i had to get the internet channel because i could sometimes pick up on a wireless signal.
but, since i have a comp now, its not used much.
guess ill pick up a nes game if i somehow get a wireless signal

i thought the new flash upgrade might allow alot more compatability, im gonna have to do a little research to find the benefits

I kind of agree with Jim. Most of those games are on RU, so maybe you should take a few minutes and see if the Wii has any NES games that are not on RU.

I find it better to pick up an rpg on the wii rather than playing it on RU because on RU it only saves to the specific computer, but of course there are hardly any...

@ten, being a site mod you might find this useful: if you ever have trouble seeing a screenshots score, you can zoom right in with your wii and the screenshot maintains its integrity

Steven, Same, I'm using the wii 90 % of the time, and, yes, even youtube barely worked, now Gametrailers barely works and youtube works great.
Also, yes, embed youtube videos never worked before.

well, with earthbound (which is not on wii) playing it on RU, you get fast forward and savestates

Downloading it makes me realize that it's horrible without a keypad, and it lags.

yea, it does, but if you have a super slow/old computer, or dont have one at all its better than nothing, btw where can i buy a key board for the wii, and would any other comp. keyboard work?

I've been told by lelouch(Nintendo Daily) that a USB keyboard works but somehow, I'm doubtful.

I have a question. Do you think you could somehow get those points if you got the channel as a gift. I'm thinking you can't because it's cheating, but I'm just interested. Anyone know?
