Resident Evil 4

This is my second favorite game of all time(the first being The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask)
I have it for GameCube and I plan on getting it for the Wii when ever I have the money.
Has anybody else played this game? If so what do you think of it?

Played and beat it for PS2. Love it. One of my favorite games as well, and I will also be buying it for the Wii when it comes out. I am pumped. The fact that it is being made over for the Wii is great news.

Not so great news is the fact that RE: Umbrella Chronicles, the first RE for the Wii, will be a rail shooter. That is hardly the direction I would like to see the franchise, being one of my favorite, go.

But yes, awesome game RE 4 is.

I haven't played the PS2 version which I would like to so I can play the other mode. (Forgot what it's called.)
Pretty much the only reason I'm getting it for the Wii is because it has the extra mode.

And about Umbrella Chronicles, I would have to agree, on-rails games aren't very fun, but I saw a video of this game and it actually looks like a decent game. I'll probably get it just for the story.

Bah, there isn't really any reason to play the PS2 version if you played the Gamecube version, really. With the little differences, it is still pretty much the same game.

Even though I had never played a Resident Evil before, I loved Resident Evil 4. The game was one of my favorite games of 2005.

I have it for ps2 and seperate ways really added to the game. Along with that and the ganster suit, there is a knight suit for ashley (I think thats her name) and new weapon thats like a flashbang. Also, Ada has a cool exploding crossbow in seperate ways.

This will make resident evil 4 one of the better wii games since I heard it will only be $30 and it has a promising control scheme. Too bad I'll probably never get one.

Seperate ways was a bonus mission that you got if you beat the game on normal mode. You played as Ada and the mission kinda followed how ada and leon would meet during the game. For example, in the very first part of the game, in the village, a bell is rung and all of the ganados (villagers) left. It turned out that Ada rang the bell and you get to play how she got there. Her storyline crossed with leons which means that most of the areas are the same except for a battleship.

Seperate ways was only for the ps2 version and will probably be a part of the wii version. If you haven't played it, you should since it was my favorite extra mode from the game.

Ah weak. I didn't even know that existed. I beat the PS2 version on normal mode, patted myself on the back, and sold it.

Oh well. That's something to look forward to on the Wii version I guess.

Resident Evil 4 is the best RE game i've played. The coolest part was when the island blew up at the end.

i never played this one, but i have to say that my fave RE game was code veronica on the DC, not the PS2 re-make. it was just so much better!
