Challenge Cup - Coleco Pointers

There will be a 1,000 point sign-up fee to enter this contest. You may enter yourself in this thread.

Each week you will be given three random scoring Coleco games. You will need to PM me screenshots of your highest score in all three games. Those three scores will be added up and the bottom half of the scorers will be eliminated. This contest will last for three weeks featuring nine total Coleco games. After the first week four players will be eliminated. Two more after the second week, and final one more after third week.

The catch is that your totals will carry over from week to week. So its to your benefit to not only be in the top half but to do the best that you can. Good luck.

Hobbes is right. It would be grossly unfair for me to participate in this contest. Jest's having blockage at work. Why not convince Tekk to sign up? It's not like he's doing anything anyways...

Not to mention I have never been able to play Coleco. My Java is too old and our admin won't let us download a new version. It looks like this block will be here for the life of the site. So unless the site changes again, I will be forced to work around the block with a proxy that will only allow me to post. So contest will be a rare thing for me now (unless it is one that gives us about a week to get in a score. Also, I will be going home (in Oklahoma from North Dakota) for the entire month of May. I will return at the beginning of June. Have fun everyone and I will see you all later.

OOC: I will be turning 21 when I am gone so you all know what I will be doing. At this point I would put the two smilies drinking but this stupid proxy won't let it work. Oh well.

Now that the games are on, can you give us a quick recap of the scoring system?

I understand that we'll be eliminating players each week, based on the combined point totals for all 3 games:

Example: Cabbage Patch - 1,000
Gorf - 20,000
RocRope - 7,000

Total: 28,000

As everyone can now tell, I'm a slow learner. :dizzy:
