To answer you, yes. They need to exsist because the people who live there want them to exsist. If they didn't, they'd move. People identify with thier homelands mostly. Iraqis are not iranians and vice versa.
Why should the US exsist then? We have no real ethnic background of our own since we're literally a meltingpot.

You'd have to be more specific for anyone to really answer this question. There's a lot of reasons for a group of people to lose/leave thier country of origin.

Probably? I'd say it's virtually impossible.
Also about the hitler thing, it wasn't just germans included in the "master race" nonsense. He believed that other groups were also part of it, like the nords and other northern european peoples. He probably would've liked the brits if they didn't fight him at every turn.
