Do you think that countries without their own ethinicities need to exist? I can think of several such countries: Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Liechenstein, Syria, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, the Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Singapore, and Taiwan (there are probably more, though). Why do we need all these countires?

On the other hand, why do other ethnicities have no country?

all of those countries do indeed have their own ethnicities, in fact, many of those countries listed are made up of multiple ethnicities. iraq for example, is made up of arabs, most of whom are either sunni or shi'a muslims, kurds, and assyrains.

Perhaps I should rephrase myself. I am saying that it might be better if each ethnicity had one country and no more or less. It's probably not feasible, though.

no it is not...take a walk down main st. of whatever town you live in and tell me how many ethnic groups or races that you see.

european countries, especially germany, have tried to do things like that, but for the most part it doesn't work because ethnic groups have usually traveled everywhere throughout history...
i think hitler tried to do this...

hitler didn't try to keep only germans in germany, he tried to keep only germans on earth.

Do any countries really need to exsist? Why only be selective by ethnic backgrounds?
To answer you, yes. They need to exsist because the people who live there want them to exsist. If they didn't, they'd move. People identify with thier homelands mostly. Iraqis are not iranians and vice versa.

Why should the US exsist then? We have no real ethnic background of our own since we're literally a meltingpot.

You'd have to be more specific for anyone to really answer this question. There's a lot of reasons for a group of people to lose/leave thier country of origin.

Probably? I'd say it's virtually impossible.

Also about the hitler thing, it wasn't just germans included in the "master race" nonsense. He believed that other groups were also part of it, like the nords and other northern european peoples. He probably would've liked the brits if they didn't fight him at every turn.
