you know the groups?
well what if we had a group for either over 18's or over 21's
where you could talk about anything?

because with a group, members have to be accepted first
so we could check their age before they joined,

i know you might get peolpe who are under 18 trying to join - but it wouldnt happen,
or people who try to make another account - but lie about there age, they wouldnt be alowed to join the group either, because they are unknown.

this over 18 group wouldnt be that bad, it would be just for things like
for example -
in one of the threads about wired websites, there are quite funny ones but we cant really post any 18+ ones, im not talking porn or anything, it might just be somthing funny but not for under 18's
or jokes, there are loads of funny jokes that are 18+ and if the 18+ group was alowed, then we could tell these harmless jokes in there

this group could be hidden also

i know it will proberley get refused but it was worth a try.

I think a social group for adults might work. Make it invite only like teams and only post on the hidden forum. Age shouldn't matter, it's up to the person to join it, make the groups point very obvious and you can't be blamed(imo). I would have to say though, no porn and no racist/offensive material still. Just make a place where people can vent and type like they talk. I'd join it.

I would be all for that as well. One issue with that tho, wouldn't there have to be some kind of thing then to verify the age of the person that is saying they are 18. That way someone who is say 15 comes in and puts down 18 is not going to get involved in that because that could cause some issues for the site if they lie about the age and then say a parents sees that stuff and gets pissed off.

well i think only members who are known
like for people who have been members for over a year, or somthing.

we would figure it out.

but if someone new (somedude with another new account for example)
comes along, they will simply get refused because they are quite unknown

i think it would be a good idea,
it is up to kong though.

You can invite who ever you want really. If it's a private group then you should be able to pick and choose.
