What do you think will happen 5 BILLION years from now? Think the Earth will break orbit and hopefully escape the wrath of the red giant that we know and love as the Sun? Or will humans learn how to live on Pluto?

Humans will use thier advanced technology to turn the earth into a giant mothership. We'll leave the solar system finally and all the other sentient beings will wonder what took us so long. We'll be embarassed but in time we'll get over it.

yeah actually, If you ever saw the show 'Apocalipse how' then you'd see all the ways we could die, Let's see:

Asteroid in 2012
Aliens
Blackhole heading our way
Supervalcano that will kill everything on earth
Robots getting too smart
Ice caps melt
sun explodes from somewhere in the universe and the blast of it kills us
our sun inflates and boils us alive
Super colider creates blackhole in 2009

Super colider creates 'Strange matter' That gobbles up everthing and converts it.

In many ways, I believe this super colider will kill us, And in any case we are doomed before 5 billion years.

it's not who, It's a giant device scientists have buil to re-create the big bang that has a 25% chance of creating a black hole and a 10% chance of creating a bunch of strange matter that gobbles up everything in it's path.

and the percentages that cam gave to the doomsday forecast, 10% chance on things gobbling each other up, not even close to accurate. lets say cern produced a black hole, it would be so ridiculous small that it could support its own mass and would collapse on itself.

Yeah your numbers are way off Cameron, do you have a source for them? If not don't go making things up when it comes to something like this. For all we know the collider could be the first step on the road to deep space travel or something equally as cool.

I also think that in 4 billion years the seztehmanks will try to rule the world which would end up destroying all matter in the universe while also destroying themselves which would stop the destruction even though it would be going on so really everything (except me, because I have a TARDIS hehe) would be DESTROYED!!
