To the people without avatars,
Please get one. It's not a big deal but it's kinda ugly seeing that no avatar selected icon.
Yours truly,
Dudebro
This post was meant to be funny, please forgive the fact that it's not.

Re: To the people without avatars,
also its not necesary ( i wasnt using an avatar no too much ago)
i think its even better because it takes less time to load the webpage
i dont use and avatar/signature in some forums ( i just have it here because i want)
i mean having and avatar dosent look you have more interest on the forum on things like that same with signs , looks like having and avatar makes you cooler or gives you candys
i just dont get the point

Re: To the people without avatars,
Some people just don't like using avatars/signatures.
I know in all the years jim5cents has been on EVG he's had neither.

Re: To the people without avatars,
Well it wasn't a problem before the update but now we have these lame icons that make all of you look like the same person. To me an avatar gives posters some personality. If you guys wanna be just another face in the crowd then go for it.
It's also kinda funny how everyone who posted has an avatar.

Some people prefer to have their posts describe themselves. If someone doesn't want to use an avatar that's fine. Also not using an avatar doesn't make a member any less important to the community.
You're reaching heavily here DB.

It'll get changed once the game is over.
I'm not sure if I should:
A) Go back to my old avatar
B) Put up the new one I use on another site
C) Put up one of me drunk on New Year's Eve using black cloth napkins to look like a ninja.

Re: To the people without avatars,
I think avatars are helpful to quickly identify who is posting. I don't read the user names. I just look at the avatar.

Re: To the people without avatars,
I just realized you guys might think I'm telling people to get avatars in a serious way. I was trying to be funny with this topic and hopefully inspire people to choose one. In no way was I saying people have to. Edited the first post so new people don't get the wrong idea.

Its usually what I do and it tends to throw me off for a second when someone changes their avatar.
The only reason I did so now is that it makes it easier to tel who is playing which character in the Star Trek game.

Re: To the people without avatars,
Indeed. Get with the program guys.
@ Kong, I changed it for the same reason. Since the game was originally designed to be played with people in person, it can get a bit confusing without the visual reference.
Plus I really like Worf's pimp hat.

Re: To the people without avatars,
I like it so much I might change my avatar every round. I already have several pics of Data saved from my searches anyways. I also found a ton of youtube clips I wanna post but I'm afraid of clogging up the game.

Data, calm down buddy. I've just been a little busy with all of the normal ship's operations (the Enterprise doesn't run itself) that I just haven't had the time to update my avatar until now. However, after running several diagnostics programs and simulations, with the help of the ship's computers I've decided on an avatar that I think is appropriate.

Believe it or not it was from an actual episode. It was called "Q'pid" and Q forced the crew to take part in a Robin Hood type simulation. This was Worf's Will Scarlett costume. If I remember right, Deanna got to wear a hot little Robin Hood costume as well.

@gamenguru- oh lawd don't make me have to geek out in public. I'm already noticing my data impersonation is spilling over into my normal posting. I'm not so good at this forum rpg thing.

At least I'm not as harsh on Gamenguru's music in real life right Guru? Then again I guess I'm the guitarist of the bunch. Sorry if you guys didn't get that one. The guru understands, though.

Re: To the people without avatars,
Good show gamenguru I actually loled at you new avatar. I liked the old one too but this fits with your buddy winnebagel. I tried to find a good one of Data as Friar Tuck but I didn't have any luck, if you come across one please let me know.
@WB, this is not a safe place. This is where the wierdos hang out.
