1st Half Man/Woman of the Year Nomination

I propose that we come up with nominations for 1st half of 2009 man or woman of the year award. Make a decision around end of June, then do a 2nd half which would ultimately lead to the final showdown for best of the year honors.

My nomination is for these dudes

I don't think these guys need any kind of awards for what they did since it's thier jobs. I'm glad they were able to end it with just headshots. If they missed then the situation would've become much worse.

I hate death and I don't approve of murder but we can't just roll over and let these pirates do whatever they want. If other countries wanna just pay them off then that's thier choice. It will only encourage more piracy but I understand the desire for a peaceful solution.
The US is not a country to mess with though. We don't take kindly to people kidnapping our people and we don't negotiate with terrorists. Yes pirates are terrorists.

my nomination wasn't based on them doing their job and eliminating the pirates, it was based on the skill and the gnarliness involved.
