Snes Score enable requests.

Sorry if this is getting annoying

, But I've gone through and found some games to be score/Farm enabled.

Anyone else have suggestions post them below,

My suggestions:
Farm enabled:

Donkey kong country
Donkey kong country II
Donkey kong country III
Sim city
Sim ant

Score enabled:

Killer Instinct
Jurassic park
Jurassic Park II

Any of these would be great, Thanks.

Include a reason on why you think they should be farm.

Because sabby, tenser, oasis and I had an argument on the 'sim' games and the DKC games, I still think sim city and sim ant Should be regular scores, Since you can score 0-999 in sim ant, And an infinite poulation in sim city.

okay someone was in the process of doing this at the same time as me, ill let them finish since im still a little unsure, basically for snes i just change it to allaox-no java, then simply put weither or not it can be used in tournamants by selecting yes or no, based on cheats/farming?

EDIT: or do i change it too, aox-score only?

@Steven for those all you would need to change is the high score type and the tournament type. Everything else would stay the same.

Those games should not be score enabled at all, they have no score. That post was just Cam's way of trying to go around Sabby and I and get the scores on those games enabled.

I understand you wanted them score enabled Cam but we had already discussed this. If Kong wants to change it, that's fine. You can discuss it with him through PMs. But until he changes it, Sabby and my decision need to be adhered to. I'm not a fan of this sneaky approach.

If the score can be maxed out or go to infinity then why would it be score enabled? At least if it's in the farm section it can have some kind of trophy.

cams whole argument for the sim games is that it is nearly impossible to get 999 ants in sim ant

and sim city the longer you play the higher your population so its hard to tie a score in sim city

but I wont score enable these games or change them to farm since they are up for "debate"

Honestly I'm starting to side with cameron here about simant and simcity. Btw where did you guys discuss this I must've missed it. I'd like to see why these two games shouldn't be enabled. I can't comment on the DK games because I don't know them well.

but the main discussion took place months ago on the private forums of the old forums

the main points are

I think all games should be enabled if it can be
sabby thinks that is dumb
we argue back and forth a bit
then tenser steps in and lays down the law
I concede
and we wait untill the next person brings it up

so untill the mods or kong changes there opinion on non conventional scores being used

the rule stands that

if it is an actual score meaning that there is a number counter and it goes up or down
IE Mega man or super mario bros then the game can be score enabled either under normal score or farmable score

but if the score is non conventional like someone wants to use game completion % as a score
examples being super metroid or how many hearts you have collected

those scores dont count and the game cannot be score enabled

the problem with sim ant and sim city is
they are non conventional scores. you would have to use how many ants you have or how many citizens you have and that is not a true SCORE so with the current rules they can not be score enabled

I don't have a strong opinion either way except that there are several other normal score games that need to be enabled so worrying about the oddballs right now seems like bad timing.

This is odd, They should at least be farm scores, Technically, like I've said. There is 999 different outcomes for scores, and just to get to 500, You'd need to play really well for 2 hours straight.

Okay plan, Everyone play this game, Figure out how to play it, It aint complicated enough to be disabled, About all that happens is.

Lose ants by:

Spiders
Lawn mowers
Fighting red ants
Ants flying away every year to make their own nest.

Gain ants By:

Gathering food
Having enough food and trails to support however many ants you have.

Pretty Straight forward for a score, Try it quick for yourself, Then decide, K?

I was trying to meet halfway and go farms over score or no score, But I still think they should be score enabled.

Well I didn't know any cheats to them, I just know they have legit scores, That's pretty much every snes game I own enabled now, despite home improvement and 6 odd sport games.

sonic spinball must still be farmable its too easy to get sonic in the middle of flippers or enemys and get lots of points

PS: snes clay fighter is unable to be played so should be deleted
