The Worst Game Ever

Hi guys, it is I The Doctor. Now I've read a bunch of stuff on here about FAVORITE games. But now I open the evil Pandora's Box. What is the worst game you have ever played. It can be on this site or any other system. The worst game I ever played was Back to the Future. That game was made by demons I tell you.

takeshi's challenge for famicom, bosses that take 20'000 hits, one part where you cant touch the controller for an hour. there are numerouse events in the game that if do or dont do then you cant beat the game -but they dont tell you.

Honorary mention:
Total Recall (NES)
Because of bad programming its impossible to beat the game. You need to hit the second to last boss X number of times before you get an auto-death. The problem is, you are only given Y number of openings to the boss' weak spot where Y < X.

My worst game:
Illusions (Coleco)
The sheer horror...

HAHA...I have to agree with Dead_tears for saying Cheetahmen 2. That is an absolute horrific game. Can you believe there's a site dedicated to that game as well? I consider it a good conversation piece. I have the game staged in the entry way in my house. <just kidding.

Another really bad game was A Nightmare on Elm Street for the NES.

The worst game ever... why its ET, of course!

I'm not really sure what I would consider to be the worst game I've ever played. One that sticks out in my mind right now is Ninja Kun, which I've only played here. I can't stand that game

Not sure if I would consider it the worst though. I'm pretty sure there are worse games that I've played that I've hated even more that I can't think of right now. Maybe my mind is trying to block out the bad memories?

Any of the Sonic games. You lose ALL your rings whenever you get hurt, which stinks, and you don't have any moves other than running, rolling, or jumping. I mean, compare the number of abilities Mario can do to the number of abilities Sonic can do. Mario's got loads!

I disagree. The worst video game ending has got to be for the NES game 1942. The only thing you see is a black screen that says "CONGRATULATION." That's right, it says "CONGRATULATION." They couldn't even get that correct! LOL.

I agree. Besides Indian Jones, don't know if I ever tried it. Also Dragons Lair isn't considered a bad game, just the crappy ports are.

I've never played ET, but with all the debate about it I would love to try it out someday.

@Kong- That manhole game for the NES is awful. The controls for it are really confusing. The game and watch version though is actually a lot of fun, you should try it.

Most of those games are mediocre, not bad. The Karate Kid is a very fun game in my opinion, and it's a travesty that's portrayed as bad as it is. However, I do agree with your assessment of Back to the Future, Deadly Towers, Where's Waldo, and Dragon's Lair.

In the the NES version of Action 52, Cheetah Men is playable-ish. That's the best you can really expect out of a Cheetah Men game. Cheetah Men II, on the other hand, is atrocious and wins my vote easily.
