Myspace Moderator?

Anybody want to moderate the RU myspace page? Not much to be done. When people send friend invites or comments you approve them. Add some descriptions to it and try to get more friends added to it. And start similar things at facebook etc.

I could do that I could check it atleast once a day

but I may not be the best choice seeing how I dont know how to modify myspace very well but my wife does

Yeah I suck with Myspace and I barely check it anyways. Sorry, if no one else wants to I can at least help out with it.

There isn't much modifying that needs to be done. Just maintaining. Maybe joining some other video game groups to try to spread the word and creating a facebook and other similar profiles. And creating a youtube account and uploading a bunch of retro game stuff like trial runs and commercials. I have a lot of commercials that I can send you to upload and you can find speadruns to add to it.

I don't know jack about setting this kind of thing up. Did you guys see my Myspace page? It took me like a year to realize how to change the background color.

they have editors for that now ;D

just put what you want and it makes the code for you

I think I would be ok a moderating the page I would just work with my wife to set up face book for it

and a you tube account I will do those things tonight if you want.

I think you are misunderstanding me. I do not want you to edit the myspace page.

I want you to approve new friend and comment requests.
Add a description to the about me page.
Find video game groups and ask them to be our friends.
Recommend similar sites to do this with - example facebook.
I will create a profile there and then you will do the same stuff with it.
And I will create a youtube profile and you will upload old video game commercials and similar videos to it.

The emails for these profiles will go straight to you and you will have to check them.

No technical stuff required.

I can do that, Kong. I already ramble on many sites about RU anyways, heck a few people joined here too. Problem is, I work 70 hours one week, not on much, and then off the next. I got a simple myspace page, and got tons of friends who can spread the word with RU too.

I understand what you're saying Kong. I just don't remember to check Myspace and other sites I don't really like. If you want to have a few of us overlap and check it I can help with that. I'd log in like once a week at the most to check for friend invites ect. I want to help I just don't want to let you down by forgetting.

@kong to answer your question I can do the Myspace page not a problem I will log in on my breaks at work and approve and seek out some cool groups

so I can check it about 5 times a week if not more...

do you want just retro stuff (obviouse question) or just any games in general

I like the lettering and the robot guy but if we put it on a black background we will lose the robots eyes and also the U looks like a V but most people would be able to figure that out
