...about the beatles!!! i now have a beatles piano songbook, so far can play Yesterday, some of Eleanor Rigbey and want to learn Yellow Submarine. What are youre fave beatle's songs? what one would you suggest i/anyone should learn?

Yes The Beatles!! My iPod is full of Beatles songs ;D
Yesterday is one of my favorites, but I also love Let it Be, the long and winding road, and Hey Jude. I know there's others that I can't think of right now too.
Do you like the earlier or later stuff more? I like the later albums a little bit better, I think just because I listened to most of them before I heard the earlier songs. All of their music is great though!

Black bird and My life are awesome songs. Both can make me sad just by listening to them.
Also the guy who shot Lennon should've been tortured and killed slowly, how dare he kill such a talented person. Makes me mad even thinking about it. Such a coward.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Stawberry Fields Forever, Daytripper and Taxman. Those are my favorites. But I love most of the later stuff.

@TNT: i do prefer some of the later stuff, and have taken to playing Eleaor Rigbey, its very simple, although Hey Jude is even simpler, i hate the key of Y/S,its in F# major (thats 6 sharps, and anyone who understands that knows how difficult that is to play!) i havent, im ashamed to say, heard Penny lane, although ill find out and play it. man, the beatles were brilliant! also, d/b, i always thought that about George's tragic death...

To have such an unusual key is not anymore difficult than say the scale of Eb but it is such an unusuall key, that most people are not accustomed to it.

yeah, different keys can be hard to play in when youre reading dots/sheet music. ever looked at real sheet music?
