ok, since there's a hall of fame, I'm gonna make a hall of shame, if anyone wants to contribute please do.

My hall of shame (So far):

It took me 5 minutes sitting at my computer to come up with one but here it goes... Rayman 1. I got to play the first level from beating Rayman 2- the great escape getting all of those yellow balls of light, and I hated it.
For ps1, Rayman 2, The Great Escape doesn't fall into the catagory of 3d train wrecks. The game was great!

No Hall of Shame is complete without Cheetahmen II, although an argument could be made that it's so bad, it's good.

I'd add: Silver Surfer (NES), Deadly Towers(NES), and any console game show video game, especially Family Feud.

Deadly Towers and Silver Surfer are bad, but not hall of shame material. Game show games depend on one's taste, and can still be enjoyed by fun. I'll try cheetahmen II and you'll see if I add it.

And if Rayman was bad, they wouldn't make a sequel.

@kong I agree to that as well family fued was a good game.

@laser I dont think that back to the future should be added it was not all that bad of a game for back then. There are far worse games then BTTF.

I've played Rayman, and it was decent. You could argue that it's mediocre, but mediocre games belong in the "Hall of Adequacy" so if you wanna make that be my guest.

That is where we will have to disagree but hey it is your list but I think that BTTF should be put up to a vote just to see if it is that bad or not.

I vote to include Back to The Future. I had forgotten about this one, but seriously, it is atrocious.

Laserboy, I can understand that you might not think Silver Surfer is awful, I disagree, but I will let that one go. However, I'm still going to try to push to get Deadly Towers included. It is essentially a Zelda clone that is massively screwed up. Take for instance, the protagonist is amazingly pathetic. He throws tiny daggers that do almost no damage. For example: It takes at least eight hits for him to slay one of the earliest common enemies in the game, which would be a bouncing ball. Couple that with the fact that the daggers are really slow, and that makes for an incredibly boring game already. Add in the ridiculous bounce back if you're hit by an enemy(usually this means you fly off a cliff and die), Myer's horrible defenses, and incredibly irritating dungeons, and I think it's worthy of the list. With the exploration aspects and the unholy diffculty, this is probably a game only Tenser would enjoy.

I have two more games I'd suggest. Operation Secret Storm(NES) and Manace Beach(NES).

I think it is BTTF II & III that sucks. The first one wasn't great but still way better than the sequel.

I also liked Ghostbusters on SMS. Although I will admit that is probably just because it was one of the first 8-bit games I ever owned/played.

@kong yes I have to really agree there it should be BTTF 2 & 3 that should be in the hall of shame over BTTF 1 but once again that was only my opinion.

I haven't gotten very far in menace beach... and she's 8 bit, so it's not very hot to me....

Menace Beach's history makes it slightly interesting but the game itself still sucks.

Action 52 earned a spot on the list. It might be one of the worst games on the site. I removed the NES version because it sucked so bad. I guess I should bring it back so people have a chance to play it and see what it was about. It did have some achievements though. It is the largest (as in file size) NES game and at the time one of the more expensive NES games (about $80, I think the Genesis version was $200) and now one of the more rare cartridges. I imagine all of this goes for the Genesis version also. The people that made Color-A-Dinosaur made the Genesis version.

Adventure of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends - not a great game but not the worst. OK. Pretty bad but still not as bad as Back to the Future 2&3 or Action 52.

Color A Dinosaur - not really a game. I think they accomplished what they set out to and what they advertised. It is targeted to a very young audience. Of course adults shouldn't like it.

I nominate Manhole.
