Firefox 3

What is better with Firefox 3 than Firefox 2?

When my mom tried it on her computer it did load way faster but some important sites she needed wouldn't work and would get a white page.

Ever since that I have been edgy with downloading Firefox 3. What if something I go to does not work? Will I have to use the crappy IE?

Anyways, I am thinking about trying firefox 3 on a new user just to test it but first I want your opinions on it.

You can install FF2 and FF3 in two separate folders and use both at the same time.

The problem your mom had was probably due to either a missing browser plugin, a temporary glitch in your Internet connection, you were using the BETA version, some other conflict on your computer beside the browser or a poorly designed web page. Most likely the problem will not happen again or is fixable.

I think Google's Chrome will be the wave of the future. Though you might want to give it a few months or a year more development before switching to it.

Re: Firefox 3

Also AVG wouldn't work right on it, I think it was the beta version as it was a few months ago.

Gonna try it right now, thanks Kong!

I've been using FF3 since it was released, and no problems whatsoever. I give it a thumbs-up.

I have too. As a matter of fact, my IE doesn't work too well anymore, & all I have left is Firefox 3.
I gave it a thumbs up as well.

Re: Firefox 3

i ma still up in the air on the 2 here, i do notice that the FF. seems a little clearer then the IE is but for me i cant figure out what one i like more, i guess trying both of them out will get me a clear winner on this one, lol.. i think that the look on FF takes a bit of getting used to but it may come around on me at some point in time ;D

Chrome I just think Chrome has potential. I don't think you should switch from FF to Chrome anytime soon.

Google Chrome saves your searches on Googles servers, if I remember correct.

I peronally wouldn't use it.
