Wouldn't be great if you could use points for money, like buying badges for 3000 points. You could get someone to run an online shop . I think this is a good idea, does anyone agree?

We used to have something similar but Kong didn't want to carry it over to retro uprising from onVGP. If you go to THIS link, you will see the conversation about badges that has already taken place. Probably not going to happen (unless Kong has a hidden agenda).

You have to earn badges period.

As Jeckel said there was something like that at onVGP but it was a technical nightmare with tons of bugs.

For now points are just for bragging rights and perhaps entry fees into contests. That might change one day but it will be far in the future.

I had that idea a looong time ago. Only Tekka, Ten and Kong would remember. I thought that people could "sell" avatars, sig pics and whatnot. It never took off though.
