Challenge Cup - Map Your Way Through
The Game:
Stanley: The Search for Dr. Livingston is a neat little platform/adventure devised by Sculptured Software. Sculptured Software were known mostly for their sports titles but also surprised many with odd little offerings such as Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Day Dreamin' Davey, and Thrilla's Surfari. The game plays out interestingly. In this game, your main objective is to find weapons, armor, and items to use to advance and find more. The game is divided into several sections, with each section divided into smaller stages. These can be explored in a non-linear manner, and you can somewhat choose the order you explore them in. In each section, you are searching for a specific item necessary for completion of that section. There are also several other items of interest, like the machete, which are not required to be found in order to complete the game, but will help you along your way.
The Challenge:
Everytime you visit a new section a little bit more of the map is filled out for you. Take a screen shot of the overland map completely filled out. While I will allow save states I expect you to uphold your gamer's integrity and not consult any FAQ or walkthrough. Not a problem you say? We'll realize the over-land map contains 221 different sections you'll have to at least visit.
The Prize:
One badge, first come, first serve.
The Timeframe:
Until someone sends in a submission.

@tenser: do you have to go in every house and do they count?

The houses have no effect on your over-world map.

Re: Challenge Cup - Map Your Way Through
It only took forever but inspired by dudebro I set out on a mission and completed this challenge yesterday. it took about 5-6 hours but I completed it.
@tenser once again you picked a grate game I thoroughly enjoyed it.
@ everyone else. I dont remember how to get the screen shots to prove that I completed the challenge I used arcade ox full mode and recorded a short movie clip of me running around the finished map and 2 screen shots and 1 screen shot of the end title screen. so if someone can tell me how to get those I will post them up and this long challenge will come to a close.

Re: Challenge Cup - Map Your Way Through
Damn for some reason I assumed someone beat this and I forgot about it. I could've had this badge if I knew it was open this long. On top of that you say I inspired you,
I'm gonna have to start paying attention to these more.

@tenser
like most games you pick this game was a real gem to play
it is tough to get the hang of it but once you figure out what you are supposed to do it was really enjoyable.

Re: Challenge Cup - Map Your Way Through
I was gonna move this last night but I was confused why Oasis didn't have a badge yet after so much time had passed. Good to see he got the credit he deserves, good job Oasis.
