I am looking for a program that edits .avi format video. It needs to be able to break it down frame by frame so that each frame can be edited in the program or transfered in and out of a graphic program like MS Paint.
Any help or recommendations would greatly be appreciated.
My crew uses Final Cut for all our video editing needs, but that is for Mac. Are you looking for something that is free?
Free is nice, but not the underlying factor for the software. It also needs to be for PC. Thanks for the recommendations, I plan to try them out as soon as possible. Keep them coming guys, I appreciate it.
It's not good, but I have used Windows Movie Maker to pause video files and take a "picture" of the frame which turns it into a jpeg, for screenshots of films. So that will do half the job I suppose.
