How Long Do New High Scores Take to get Posted

I got a high score last night and hit f12, it said it was saved, etc...how long until it shows up on the site?

Depends on the length of the submission, the number of other games awaiting approval, the number of mods who are available etc. Usually a couple of days.

Your Ten Yard Fight scores are already through, btw.

Yes, the usual approval rate is about 24-48 hours. Of course there are always exceptions. If its been over 3 days, feel free to PM a mod.

You'd need to ask whoever you plan to submit to.

World records? I'd maybe start in Japan.

For English-speaking world records the submission process at TwinGalaxies / Guinness requires WolfMAME .106, video recording, inps, what-have-you, and a bunch of sympathetic onlookers.

Also, I think the TG record is somewhere in the region of 300k, so you'd better get cracking.

would using wolfmame and a video recording be acceptable under the arcade category or do you generally have to be using a dedicated machine?

RU isnt wolfmame so INPs (submissions) created here arent valid for submission to TG or MARP

If you want to submit to TG, download WolfMAME 0.106 from wolfmame.marpirc.net

Arcade is a dedicated original machine. There's a MAME category too
