The Goodwill/Yard sale topic

This topic is to post about stuff you've found from a discount store, or yardsales/flea markets. Even if it's something on sale at a store post your find here!

For me, I frequent my Goodwill a lot, and have gotten stuff like a complete PS2 that works, a Dream Cast, and other things like WWF Warzone, Tecmo Bowl NES, and Rad Racer.

My best find had to be this Saturday though!

I went there with my Mom as I had a day off work, when I went there I immediately went to electronics. I found a PS1/2 controller and a NES Light Gun. I didn't get them as I had them and they would just be extra stock. Then I went up to a glass counter and behold, I see a brand new game in the plastic still for $20. It's Paper Mario: Sticker Star 3DS game. Naturally, I immediately snagged it as it was a game on my want list but refused to pay the retail price for it. I got an saw a rip in the plastic on top, figured 'must've been why it was donated here by a store' as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Game is in perfect condition and has everything inside. Was just the top part that was messed up.

Anyways, what is your deals that you've gotten?

I'm hoping to build my video game collection there due to this. It's cheap, and it doesn't have the demand of resellers.

Got a 5 foot scratch post with a perch and latter for $5 as well as some duffel bags for 2 bucks a piece.

I go to yard sales occasionally but they never have any gaming stuff. I usually get nothing but sometimes I get an old book or some knick nacks.

Back in July I found a yard sale selling RCT3 for about a buck.

Also has anyone went to a yard sale that says they have a lot of games on sale, and you get there and it's just stuff like 20 madden games?

The Yard Sale around here just buys the stuff from goodwill and marks up the prices. >_>

Back in high school, I got a Genesis, a 32X, and 6 Six 32X games + a couple regular Gen games, and an Activator. for 50 bucks.

Found: GBA SP + Pokemon Crystal (saves) $5

DS Phat + 5 GBA games + charger $20

another PS2 $5

All I can remember off top of head.
